Amigo
O amigo verdadeiro é dádiva rara de Deus. Ele ama em todo tempo, fala a verdade em amor, aconselha com sabedoria e permanece fiel nas adversidades da vida.
Amizade verdadeira
Há amigo mais chegado que um irmão. Em todo tempo ama o amigo. O perfume e o incenso alegram o coração — assim o conselho doce do amigo.
24 A man that hath friends, ought to shew him selfe friendly: for a friend is neerer then a brother.
17 A friende loueth at all times: and a brother is borne for aduersitie.
9 As oyntment and perfume reioyce the heart, so doeth the sweetenes of a mans friend by hearty counsell.
17 Yron sharpeneth yron, so doeth man sharpen the face of his friend.
5 Open rebuke is better then secret loue. 6 The wounds of a louer are faithful, and the kisses of an enemie are pleasant.
10 Thine owne friend and thy fathers friend forsake thou not: neither enter into thy brothers house in the day of thy calamitie: for better is a neighbour that is neere, then a brother farre off.
20 He that walketh with the wise, shalbe wise: but a companion of fooles shalbe afflicted.
24 Make no friendship with an angrie man, neither goe with the furious man, 25 Least thou learne his wayes, and receiue destruction to thy soule.
6 Many men wil boast, euery one of his owne goodnes: but who can finde a faithfull man?
4 Riches gather many friends: but the poore is separated from his neighbour.
Jesus, o amigo
Já não vos chamo servos, mas amigos. O maior amor é dar a vida pelo amigo. Jesus é o amigo que nunca falha.
13 Greater loue then this hath no man, when any man bestoweth his life for his friendes. 14 Ye are my friendes, if ye doe whatsoeuer I commaund you. 15 Henceforth call I you not seruants: for the seruant knoweth not what his master doeth: but I haue called you friends: for all things that I haue heard of my Father, haue I made knowen to you.
12 This is my commandement, that ye loue one another, as I haue loued you. 13 Greater loue then this hath no man, when any man bestoweth his life for his friendes.
11 Beloued, if God so loued vs, we ought also to loue one another. 12 No man hath seene God at any time. If we loue one another, God dwelleth in vs, and his loue is perfect in vs.
16 Hereby haue we perceiued loue, that he layde downe his life for vs: therefore we ought also to lay downe our liues for the brethren. 17 And whosoeuer hath this worlds good, and seeth his brother haue neede, and shutteth vp his compassion from him, howe dwelleth the loue of God in him? 18 My litle children, let vs not loue in worde, neither in tongue onely, but in deede and in trueth.
23 And the Scripture was fulfilled which sayeth, Abraham beleeued God, and it was imputed vnto him for righteousnesse: and hee was called the friende of God.
10 Be affectioned to loue one another with brotherly loue. In giuing honour, goe one before another,
Companheiros de fé
Dois são melhores do que um. Os companheiros de fé se fortalecem mutuamente e caminham juntos com o Senhor.
9 Two are better then one: for they haue better wages for their labour. 10 For if they fal, the one wil lift vp his felow: but wo vnto him that is alone: for he falleth, and there is not a second to lift him vp.
1 A song of degrees or Psalme of David. Behold, howe good and howe comely a thing it is, brethren to dwell euen together. 2 It is like to the precious oyntment vpon the head, that runneth downe vpon the beard, euen vnto Aarons beard, which went downe on the border of his garments: 3 And as the dew of Hermon, which falleth vpon the mountaines of Zion: for there the Lord appointed the blessing and life for euer.
63 I am companion of all them that feare thee, and keepe thy precepts.
3 Then Ionathan and Dauid made a couenant: for he loued him as his owne soule.
33 Be not deceiued: euill speakings corrupt good maners.
