Amigo
O amigo verdadeiro é dádiva rara de Deus. Ele ama em todo tempo, fala a verdade em amor, aconselha com sabedoria e permanece fiel nas adversidades da vida.
Amizade verdadeira
Há amigo mais chegado que um irmão. Em todo tempo ama o amigo. O perfume e o incenso alegram o coração — assim o conselho doce do amigo.
24 A mans many companions are hurtful to him; but there is many a friend that cleaveth closer than a brother.
17 A friend loveth at all times, and as a brother is he born for the time of distress.
9 Oil and perfume cause the heart to rejoice, and so do the sweet words of a friend more than ones own counsel.
17 Iron is sharpened by iron: so doth a man sharpen himself on the countenance of his friend.
5 Better is open reproof than concealed love.6 Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but deceptive are the kisses of an enemy.
10 Thy own friend, and thy fathers friend, thou must not forsake; but into thy brothers house enter not on the day of thy calamity: better is a near neighbor than a distant brother.
20 He that walketh with wise men will become wise; but he that associateth with fools will be destroyed.
24 Make no friendship with a man given to anger; and with a man of fury thou must have no intercourse:25 Lest thou learn his ways, and get a snare for thy own soul.
6 Most men will proclaim every one his own kindness; but who can find a faithful man?
4 Wealth bringeth many friends; but the poor becometh separated from his only friend.
Jesus, o amigo
9 Two are better than one; because they will have a good reward for their toil.10 For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to the single one that falleth; for he hath no companion to lift him up.
1 A song of the degrees by David. Behold, how good and how pleasant it is when brethren dwell closely together in union!2 It is like the precious oil upon the head, running down upon the beard, yea, Aarons beard, which runneth down upon the upper border of his garments;3 Like the dew of Chermon, running down upon the mountains of Zion; for there hath the Lord commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.
63 An associate am I unto all that fear thee, and unto those that keep thy precepts.
3 Then Jonathan and David made a covenant, because of his loving him as his own soul.
