34 "I give you a new command: Love one another. Just as I have loved you, you are also to love one another.35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love*one another."

12 "This is my command: Love one another as I have loved*you.

13 No one has greater love than this: to lay down his life*for his friends.

11 For this is the message you have heard from the beginning: We should love one another,

14 We know that we have passed from death to life because we love our brothers and sisters. The one who does not love remains in death.  *

16 This is how we have come to know love: He laid down his life  * for us.  * We should also lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters.  *17 If anyone has this world’s goods  * and sees a fellow believer  * in need  * but withholds compassion  * from him — how does God’s love reside in him?  *18 Little children, let us not love in word or speech, but in action and in truth.  *

7 Dear friends, let us love one another, because love is from God, and everyone who loves has been born of God  * and knows God.

10 Love consists in this: not that we loved God, but that he loved us  * and sent his Son to be the atoning sacrifice  *,* for our sins. 11 Dear friends, if God loved us in this way, we also must love one another.  *12 No one has ever seen God.  * If we love one another, God remains in  * us and his love is made complete in us.

20 If anyone says, "I love God," and yet hates his brother or sister,  * he is a liar.  * For the person who does not love his brother or sister  * whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen.  *21 And we have this command from him: The one who loves God must also love his brother and sister.

10 Love one another deeply as brothers and sisters.  * Take the lead in honoring one another.  *

8 Do not owe anyone anything, except to love one another, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law.  *

8 Finally, all of you be like-minded and sympathetic, love one another,  * and be compassionate  * and humble,  *

8 Above all, maintain constant love  * for one another, since love covers a multitude of sins.*,*

9 About brotherly love: You don’t need me to write you because you yourselves are taught by God  * to love one another.  *

1 Let brotherly love  * continue. 2 Don’t neglect to show hospitality, for by doing this some have welcomed angels as guests without knowing it.  *3 Remember those in prison, as though you were in prison with them, and the mistreated,  * as though you yourselves were suffering bodily.  *

14 Above all, put on love, which is the perfect bond of unity.

37 He said to him, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.*,*38 This is the greatest and most important*command.39 The second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.*,*

8 Indeed, if you fulfill the royal law prescribed in the Scripture, Love your neighbor as yourself,  *,* you are doing well.
