Let the Redeemed of the Lord Say So

1 *Oh give thanks to the Lord, *for he is good,

for his steadfast love endures forever!

24 This is the day that the Lord has made;

let us rejoice and be glad in it.

Taste and See That the Lord Is Good

1 I will bless the Lord*at all times;

his praise shall continually be in my mouth.

7 The Lord is my strength and *my shield;

in him my heart *trusts, and I am helped;

my heart exults,

and with my *song I give thanks to him.

7 You have put *more joy in my heart

than they have when their grain and wine abound.

11 You make known to me *the path of life;

in your presence there is *fullness of joy;

at your right hand are *pleasures forevermore.

4 *One thing have I asked of the Lord,

that will I seek after:

that I may *dwell in the house of the Lord

all the days of my life,

to gaze upon *the beauty of the Lord

and to inquire* in his temple.

12 *So teach us to number our days

that we may get a heart of wisdom.

31 *Gray hair is *a crown of glory;

it *is gained in a righteous life.

29 The glory of young men is their strength,

but *the splendor of old men is their gray hair.

31 but *they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength;

they shall mount up with wings *like eagles;

they shall run and not be weary;

they shall walk and not faint.

10 And now, behold, the Lord has kept me alive, *just as he said, these *forty-five years since the time that the Lord spoke this word to Moses, while Israel walked in the wilderness. And now, behold, I am this day *eighty-five years old. 11 *I am still as strong today as I was in the day that Moses sent me; my strength now is as my strength was then, for war and *for going and coming.

24 The Lord*bless you and *keep you;

25 the Lord*make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you;

26 the Lord*lift up his countenance* upon you and give you peace.

2 Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul.
