And he led them out as far as Bethany, and having lifted up his hands, he blessed them. And it came to pass as he was blessing them, he was separated from them and was carried up into heaven.(Luke 24:50,51)
And having said these things he was taken up, they beholding him, and a cloud received him out of their sight.(The Acts 1:9)
And as they were gazing into heaven, as he was going, behold, also two men stood by them in white clothing, who also said, Men of Galilee, why do ye stand looking into heaven? This Jesus who has been taken up from you into heaven, shall thus come in the manner in which ye have beheld him going into heaven.(The Acts 1:10,11)
The Lord therefore, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven, and sat at the right hand of God.(Mark 16:19)
Jesus therefore said, Yet a little while I am with you, and I go to him that has sent me.(John 7:33)
I came out from the Father and have come into the world; again, I leave the world and go to the Father.(John 16:28)
Jesus says to her, Touch me not, for I have not yet ascended to my Father; but go to my brethren and say to them, I ascend to my Father and your Father, and to my God and your God.(John 20:17)
In my Father’s house there are many abodes; were it not so, I had told you: for I go to prepare you a place;(John 14:2)
Verily, verily, I say to you, He that believes on me, the works which I do shall he do also, and he shall do greater than these, because I go to the Father.(John 14:12)
And confessedly the mystery of piety is great. God has been manifested in flesh, has been justified in the Spirit, has appeared to angels, has been preached among the nations, has been believed on in the world, has been received up in glory.(1 Timothy 3:16)
