In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. And the earth was waste and empty, and darkness was on the face of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.(Genesis 1:1,2)
The heavens declare the glory of ·God and the expanse sheweth the work of his hands. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.(Psalms 19:1,2)

Our help is in the name of Jehovah, the maker of heavens and earth.(Psalms 124:8)
It is he that buildeth his upper chambers in the heavens, and hath founded his vault upon the earth; he that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: Jehovah is his name.(Amos 9:6)
Can any hide himself in secret places, that I shall not see him? saith Jehovah. Do not I fill the heavens and the earth? saith Jehovah.(Jeremiah 23:24)
Alas, Lord Jehovah! Behold, thou hast made the heavens and the earth by thy great power and stretched-out arm; there is nothing too hard for thee:(Jeremiah 32:17)
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.(Isaiah 55:9)
Whom have I in the heavens? and there is none upon earth I desire beside thee.(Psalms 73:25)
A cidadania celestial e as prioridades do cristão
In my Father’s house there are many abodes; were it not so, I had told you: for I go to prepare you a place;(John 14:2)
for our commonwealth has its existence in the heavens, from which also we await the Lord Jesus Christ as Saviour,(Philippians 3:20)

Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon the earth, where moth and rust spoils, and where thieves dig through and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust spoils, and where thieves do not dig through nor steal;(Matthew 6:19,20)
But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and do not hinder them from coming to me; for the kingdom of the heavens is of such:(Matthew 19:14)
Jesus said to him, If thou wouldest be perfect, go, sell what thou hast and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.(Matthew 19:21)
The heaven and the earth shall pass away, but my words shall in no wise pass away.(Matthew 24:35)
For we have brought nothing into the world: it is manifest that neither can we carry anything out. But having sustenance and covering, we will be content with these.(1 Timothy 6:7,8)
As he came forth from his mother’s womb, naked shall he go away again as he came, and shall take nothing of his labour, which he may carry away in his hand.(Ecclesiastes 5:15)
And he led them out as far as Bethany, and having lifted up his hands, he blessed them. And it came to pass as he was blessing them, he was separated from them and was carried up into heaven.(Luke 24:50,51)

Beloved, now are we children of God, and what we shall be has not yet been manifested; we know that if it is manifested we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. And every one that has this hope in him purifies himself, even as he is pure.(1 John 3:2,3)
The Lord shall deliver me from every wicked work, and shall preserve me for his heavenly kingdom; to whom be glory for the ages of ages. Amen.(2 Timothy 4:18)
