3 whose adorning -- let it not be that which is outward, of plaiting of hair, and of putting around of things of gold, or of putting on of garments,4 but -- the hidden man of the heart, in the incorruptible thing of the meek and quiet spirit, which is, before God, of great price,

9 in like manner also the women, in becoming apparel, with modesty and sobriety to adorn themselves, not in braided hair, or gold, or pearls, or garments of great price,10 but -- which becomes women professing godly piety -- through good works.

10 for of Him we are workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to good works, which God did before prepare, that in them we may walk.

16 therefore, we faint not, but if also our outward man does decay, yet the inward is renewed day by day;

25 'Because of this I say to you, be not anxious for your life, what you may eat, and what you may drink, nor for your body, what you may put on. Is not the life more than the nourishment, and the body than the clothing?
