Bom ânimo
Tende bom ânimo! Jesus repetiu estas palavras aos seus discípulos em meio às tempestades. No mundo tereis aflições, mas Ele já venceu o mundo — e nos dá coragem para enfrentar tudo.
These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."
Then Joshua said to them, "Do not be afraid, nor be dismayed; be strong and of good courage, for thus the Lord will do to all your enemies against whom you fight."
Fear not, for I am with you;
Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you,
Yes, I will help you,
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Be of good courage,
And He shall strengthen your heart,
All you who hope in the Lord.
In the day when I cried out, You answered me,
And made me bold with strength in my soul.
An Exuberant Declaration of Faith
The Lordis my light and my salvation;
Whom shall I fear?
The Lordis the strength of my life;
Of whom shall I be afraid?
But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, "Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid."
for they all saw Him and were troubled. But immediately He talked with them and said to them, "Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid."
And He said to her, "Daughter, be of good cheer;your faith has made you well. Go in peace."
So weare always confident, knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord.
On the twenty-third day of the seventh month he sent the people away to their tents, joyful and glad of heart for the good that the Lord had done for David, for Solomon, and for His people Israel.
"Be strong and courageous; do not be afraid nor dismayed before the king of Assyria, nor before all the multitude that is with him; for thereare more with us than with him.
If you faint in the day of adversity,
Your strength is small.
Therefore take heart, men, for I believe God that it will be just as it was told me.
being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;
In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials,
But the salvation of the righteous is from the Lord;
Heis their strength in the time of trouble.
For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift, so that you may be established— that is, that I may be encouraged together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.
Seeing the Invisible
Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.
Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing.
therefore, brethren, in all our affliction and distress we were comforted concerning you by your faith.
So the people answered and said: "Far be it from us that we should forsake the Lord to serve other gods; for the Lord our God is He who brought us and our fathers up out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage, who did those great signs in our sight, and preserved us in all the way that we went and among all the people through whom we passed.
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
