O que é bom
O que é bom vem de Deus. A Bíblia celebra a bondade divina e nos convida a discernir, praticar e desfrutar tudo o que é bom — porque toda boa dádiva vem do Pai das luzes.
And God sees all that He has done, and behold, [it is] very good; and there is an evening, and there is a morning—the sixth day.
Good and upright [is] YHWH, || Therefore He directs sinners in the way.
And [the] nearness of God to me [is] good, || I have placed my refuge in Lord YHWH, || To recount all Your works!
A PSALM. A SONG FOR THE SABBATH DAY. [It is] good to give thanks to YHWH, || And to sing praises to Your Name, O Most High, To declare Your kindness in the morning, || And Your faithfulness in the nights. On ten strings and on stringed instrument, || On higgaion, with harp.
For YHWH [is] good, || His kindness [is] for all time, || And His faithfulness to generation and generation!
A SONG OF THE ASCENTS. BY DAVID. Behold, how good and how pleasant || The dwelling of brothers—even together!
For I have given to you good learning, do not forsake my law.
Joy [is] to a man in the answer of his mouth, || And a word in its season—how good!
My son, eat honey that [is] good, || And the honeycomb [is] sweet to your palate. So [is] the knowledge of wisdom to your soul, || If you have found that there is a posterity || And your hope is not cut off.
Wisdom [is] good with an inheritance, || And an advantage [it is] to those beholding the sun.
YHWH [is] good to those waiting for Him, || To the soul [that] seeks Him. [It is] good when one stays and stands still || For the salvation of YHWH.
He has declared to you, O man, what [is] good; Indeed, what is YHWH requiring of you, || Except—to do judgment, and love kindness, || And to walk lowly with your God?
so that the Law, indeed, [is] holy, and the command holy, and righteous, and good.
and do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, for your proving what [is] the will of God—the good, and acceptable, and perfect.
Do not let, then, evil be spoken of your good,
I exhort, then, first of all, there be made supplications, prayers, intercessions, thanksgivings, for all men— for kings, and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all piety and gravity, for this [is] right and acceptable before God our Savior,
because every creature of God [is] good, and nothing [is] to be rejected, with thanksgiving being received, for it is sanctified through the word of God and intercession.
Every good giving, and every perfect gift, is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variation, or shadow of turning;
The salt [is] good, but if the salt may become saltless, in what will you season [it]? Have in yourselves salt, and have peace in one another."
