31 And God saw all that He had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day.

8 The Lord is good and upright;

Therefore He instructs sinners in the way.

28 But as for me, the nearness of God is good for me;

I have made the Lord *God my refuge,

So that I may tell of all Your works.

1 It is good to give thanks to the Lord

And to sing praises to Your name, Most High;

2 To declare Your goodness in the morning

And Your faithfulness by *night,

3 *With the ten-stringed lute and *with the harp,

*With resounding music on the lyre.

5 For the Lord is good;

His mercy is everlasting

And His faithfulness is to all generations.

1 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is

For brothers to live together in unity!

2 For I give you good teaching;

Do not abandon my *instruction.

23 A person has joy in an *apt answer,

And how delightful is a timely word!

13 My son, eat honey, for it is good;

Yes, the honey from the comb is sweet to your taste;

14 Know that wisdom is the same for your soul;

If you find it, then there will be a *future,

And your hope will not be cut off.

11 Wisdom along with an inheritance is good,

And an advantage to those who see the sun.

25 The Lord is good to those who *await Him,

To the *person who seeks Him.

26 It is good that he waits silently

For the salvation of the Lord.

8 He has told you, mortal one, what is good;

And what does the Lord require of you

But to do justice, to love *kindness,

And to walk *humbly with your God?

12 So then, the Law is holy, and the commandment is holy and righteous and good.

2 And do not be conformed to this *world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may *prove what the will of God is, that which is good and *acceptable and perfect.

16 Therefore do not let what is for you a good thing be *spoken of as evil;

1 First of all, then, I urge that requests, prayers, intercession, and thanksgiving be made in behalf of all people, 2 for kings and all who are in *authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and *dignity. 3 This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior,

4 For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with gratitude; 5 for it is sanctified by means of the word of God and prayer.

17 Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or *shifting shadow.

50 Salt is good; but if the salt becomes unsalty, with what will you *make it salty again? Have salt in yourselves, and be at peace with one another."
