O que é bom vem de Deus. A Bíblia celebra a bondade divina e nos convida a discernir, praticar e desfrutar tudo o que é bom — porque toda boa dádiva vem do Pai das luzes.
Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed itwas very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
Good and upright is the Lord;
Therefore He teaches sinners in the way.
But itis good for me to draw near to God;
I have put my trust in the Lord God,
That I may declare all Your works.
Praise to the Lord for His Love and Faithfulness
Itisgood to give thanks to the Lord,
And to sing praises to Your name, O Most High;
To declare Your lovingkindness in the morning,
And Your faithfulness every night,
On an instrument of ten strings,
On the lute,
And on the harp,
With harmonious sound.
For the Lordis good;
His mercy is everlasting,
And His truth endures to all generations.
Blessed Unity of the People of God
Behold, how good and how pleasant itis
For brethren to dwell together in unity!
For I give you good doctrine:
Do not forsake my law.
A man has joy by the answer of his mouth,
And a word spoken in due season, how good itis!
My son, eat honey because itis good,
And the honeycomb whichis sweet to your taste;
So shall the knowledge of wisdom be to your soul;
If you have found it, there is a prospect,
And your hope will not be cut off.
Wisdom is good with an inheritance,
And profitable to those who see the sun.
The Lordis good to those who wait for Him,
To the soul who seeks Him.
Itis good that one should hope and wait quietly
For the salvation of the Lord.
He has shown you, O man, what is good;
And what does the Lord require of you
But to do justly,
To love mercy,
And to walk humbly with your God?
Therefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy and just and good.
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Therefore do not let your good be spoken of as evil;
Pray for All Men
Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this isgood and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior,
For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be refused if it is received with thanksgiving; for it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.
Salt is good, but if the salt loses its flavor, how will you season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace with one another."
