5 For those who are after the flesh mind the things of the flesh; but those who are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.6 For the mind of the flesh is death; but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace:7 because the mind of the flesh is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can it be:8 and those who are in the flesh can't please God.

9 But you{} are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you{}. But if any man does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not of his.

1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus.2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made you free from the law of sin and of death.3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:4 that the ordinance of the law might be fulfilled in us, who don't walk after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

13 for if you{} live after the flesh, you{} must die; but if by the Spirit you{} put to death the activities of the body, you{} will live.14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

21 I find then the law, that, to me who would do good, evil is present.22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:23 but I see a different law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and capturing me in the law of sin which is in my members.

5 For when we were in the flesh, the sinful passions, which were through the law, worked in our members to bring forth fruit to death.

6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

63 It is the spirit that gives life; the flesh profits nothing: the words that I have spoken to you{} are spirit, and are life.

16 But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you{} will not fulfill the desire of the flesh.

19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are [these]: fornication, impurity, sexual immorality,20 idolatry, witchcraft, enmities, strife, jealousy, wraths, factions, divisions, parties,21 envyings, drunkenness, revelings, and things similar to these; of which I forewarn you{}, even as I did forewarn you{}, that those who participate in such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

24 And those who are of Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

13 For you{}, brothers, were called for freedom; only [do] not [use] your{} freedom for an occasion to the flesh, but through love serve as slaves to one another.

8 For he who sows to his own flesh will of the flesh reap corruption; but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap eternal life.

16 For all that is in the world, the desire of the flesh and the desire of the eyes and the vain glory of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

11 in whom you{} were also circumcised with a circumcision not made with hands, in the putting off of the body of the flesh, in the circumcision of Christ;

50 Now this I say, brothers, that flesh and blood can't inherit the kingdom of God; neither does corruption inherit incorruption.
