Casamento
18 And Yahweh God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make a matching helper for him.
21 And Yahweh God caused a deep sleep to fall on the man, and he slept; and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead of it:22 and the rib, which Yahweh God had taken from the man, he made a woman, and brought her to the man.23 And the man said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she will be called a woman, because she was taken out of a man.24 Therefore will a man leave his father and his mother, and will stick to his wife: and they will be one flesh.
24 Therefore will a man leave his father and his mother, and will stick to his wife: and they will be one flesh.25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.
24 Therefore will a man leave his father and his mother, and will stick to his wife: and they will be one flesh.
22 and the rib, which Yahweh God had taken from the man, he made a woman, and brought her to the man.23 And the man said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she will be called a woman, because she was taken out of a man.24 Therefore will a man leave his father and his mother, and will stick to his wife: and they will be one flesh.
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the heavens, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.27 And God created the man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.28 And God blessed them: and God said to them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the heavens, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.
1 And the man had sex with his wife Eve; and she became pregnant, and gave birth to Cain, and said, I have gotten a man with [the help of] Yahweh.25 And Adam had sex with his wife; and she bore a son, and named him Seth. For, [she said], God has appointed me another seed instead of Abel; for Cain slew him.
Fidelidade conjugal
O que Deus ajuntou não separe o homem. O casamento deve ser honrado e o leito matrimonial preservado sem impureza.
6 I say to you{}, that even so there will be joy in heaven over one sinner that repents, [more] than over ninety and nine righteous persons, who need no repentance.
4 What do you{} think? If any man has a hundred sheep, and one of them has gone astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine, and go to search for that which goes astray?5 And if he happens to find it, truly I say to you{}, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety and nine which have not gone astray.6 I say to you{}, that even so there will be joy in heaven over one sinner that repents, [more] than over ninety and nine righteous persons, who need no repentance.
5 And if he happens to find it, truly I say to you{}, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety and nine which have not gone astray.6 I say to you{}, that even so there will be joy in heaven over one sinner that repents, [more] than over ninety and nine righteous persons, who need no repentance.
4 And they said, Moses allowed to write a bill of divorce, and to divorce.5 But Jesus said to them, For your{} hardness of heart he wrote you{} this commandment.6 But from the beginning of the creation, Male and female he made them.7 For this cause will a man leave his father and mother, and will stick to his wife;8 and the two will become one flesh: so that they are no more two, but one flesh.9 What therefore God has joined together, don't let man separate.
12 and if she herself divorced her husband, and marries another, she commits adultery.
4 [Let] marriage [be] had in honor among all, and [let] the bed [be] undefiled: for fornicators and adulterers God will judge.
4 [Let] marriage [be] had in honor among all, and [let] the bed [be] undefiled: for fornicators and adulterers God will judge.
4 [Let] marriage [be] had in honor among all, and [let] the bed [be] undefiled: for fornicators and adulterers God will judge.
Amor como Cristo
Maridos, amai vossas mulheres como Cristo amou a igreja. O amor conjugal reflete o evangelho em ação.
25 Husbands, love your{} wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and delivered himself up for it;26 that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word,
25 Husbands, love your{} wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and delivered himself up for it;26 that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word,27 that he might present the church to himself a glorious [church], not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

He who loves his own wife loves himself:29 for no man ever hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as Christ also the church;30 because we are members of his body.
28 Even so ought husbands also to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself:
28 Even so ought husbands also to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself:29 for no man ever hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as Christ also the church;30 because we are members of his body.
22 Wives, [be in subjection] to your{} own husbands, as to the Lord.23 For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the church, [being] himself the savior of the body.24 But as the church is subject to Christ, so [let] the wives also [be] to their husbands in everything.
22 Wives, [be in subjection] to your{} own husbands, as to the Lord.23 For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the church, [being] himself the savior of the body.

31 For this cause will a man leave his father and mother, and will stick to his wife; and the two will become one flesh.
33 Nevertheless, let each one of you{} also love his own wife even as himself; but the wife should fear her husband.
33 Nevertheless, let each one of you{} also love his own wife even as himself; but the wife should fear her husband.
3 But fornication, all impurity, or greed, don't let it even be named among you{}, as becomes saints;
Submissão e respeito
Mulheres, sujeitem-se aos próprios maridos. Maridos, convivam com as esposas com conhecimento e honra.
18 Wives, be in subjection to your{} husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.19 Husbands, love your{} wives, and do not be bitter against them.
14 and above all these things [put on] love, which is the bond of perfectness.15 And let the peace of Christ rule in your{} hearts, to the which you{} also were called in one body; and be{} thankful.16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you{} richly; in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms [and] hymns [and] spiritual songs, singing with grace in your{} hearts to God.17 And whatever you{} do, in word or in deed, [do] all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
14 and above all these things [put on] love, which is the bond of perfectness.
5 Put to death therefore your{} members which are on the earth: fornication, impurity, immoral sexual passion, evil desire, and greed, which is idolatry;
7 You{} husbands, in like manner, dwell with [your{} wives] according to knowledge, giving honor to the woman, as to the weaker vessel, as being also joint-heirs of the grace of life; to the end that your{} prayers not be hindered.
7 You{} husbands, in like manner, dwell with [your{} wives] according to knowledge, giving honor to the woman, as to the weaker vessel, as being also joint-heirs of the grace of life; to the end that your{} prayers not be hindered.
Pureza no casamento
Não adulterarás. A impureza sexual destrói alianças e famílias. Deus chama à santidade no matrimônio.
14 You will not commit adultery.
17 You will not covet your fellow man's house, you will not covet your fellow man's wife, nor his male slave, nor his female slave, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your fellow man's.
2 But, because of fornications, let each have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband.
3 Let the husband render to the wife her due: and likewise also the wife to the husband.4 The wife does not have power over her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband does not have power over his own body, but the wife.
3 Let the husband render to the wife her due: and likewise also the wife to the husband.4 The wife does not have power over her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband does not have power over his own body, but the wife.5 Do not deprive{} one another, except it is by consent for a season, that you{} may give yourselves to prayer, and may be together again, that Satan does not tempt you{} because of your{} lack of self-control.
8 But I say to the unmarried and to widows, It is good for them if they stay even as I.9 But if they don't have self-control, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn.10 But to the married I give charge, [yes] not I, but the Lord, That the wife is not to depart from her husband,11 but should she depart, let her stay unmarried, or let her be reconciled to her husband; and that the husband is not to leave his wife.
14 For the unbelieving husband has been accepted in the wife, and the unbelieving wife has been accepted in the brother: otherwise your{} children would be unaccepted; but as it is they are accepted.
32 But I would have you{} to be free from cares. He who is unmarried is careful for the things of the Lord, how he may please the Lord:33 but he who is married is careful for the things of the world, how he may please his wife,34 and is divided. [So] also the woman who is unmarried and the virgin is careful for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit: but she who is married is careful for the things of the world, how she may please her husband.
39 A wife is bound for as long as her husband lives; but if the husband is dead, she is free to be married to whom she wants; only in the Lord.
1 Now concerning the things of which you{} wrote: It is good for a man not to have any sex with a woman.2 But, because of fornications, let each have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband.
18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man does is outside the body; but he who commits fornication sins against his own body.19 Or don't you{} know that your{} body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you{}, which you{} have from God? And you{} are not your{} own;20 for you{} were bought with a price: glorify God therefore in your{} body.
13 Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God will bring to nothing both it and them. But the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body:14 and God both raised the Lord, and will raise up as through his power.
9 Or don't you{} know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Don't be deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals,10 nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, will inherit the kingdom of God.
4 Love suffers long, it is kind. Love does not envy. Love does not vaunt itself, is not puffed up,5 does not behave itself unseemly, does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take account of evil;6 does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth;7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
13 Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you{}? Or were you{} baptized into the name of Paul?14 I thank God that I baptized none of you{}, except Crispus and Gaius;15 lest any man should say that you{} were baptized into my name.16 And I baptized also the household of Stephanas: besides, I don't know whether I baptized any other.17 For Christ didn't send me to baptize, but to preach the good news: not in wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made void.
1 It is actually reported that there is fornication among you{}, and such fornication as is not even among the Gentiles, that one [of you{}] has his father's wife.2 And you{} are puffed up, and did not rather mourn, that he who had participated in this deed might be taken away from among you{}.
Sabedoria conjugal
Acha esposa, acha o bem. Bebe água da tua própria cisterna. A fidelidade conjugal é fonte de bênção permanente.
22 Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, And obtains favor of Yahweh.
22 Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, And obtains favor of Yahweh.
22 Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, And obtains favor of Yahweh.
14 House and riches are an inheritance from fathers; But a prudent wife is from Yahweh.
18 Let your fountain be blessed; And rejoice in the wife of your youth.19 [As] a loving hind and a pleasant doe, Let her nipples immerse you at all times; And be ravished always with her love.
3 For the lips of a strange woman drop honey, And her mouth is smoother than oil:4 But in the end she is bitter as wormwood, Sharp as a two-edged sword.5 Her feet go down to death; Her steps take hold on Sheol;6 If she does not find the level path of life: Her ways are unstable, [and] she will not know.7 Now therefore, [my] sons, listen to me, And do not depart from the words of my mouth.8 Remove your way far from her, And don't come near the door of her house;9 Or else you will give your honor to others, And your years to the cruel;
3 For the lips of a strange woman drop honey, And her mouth is smoother than oil:4 But in the end she is bitter as wormwood, Sharp as a two-edged sword.5 Her feet go down to death; Her steps take hold on Sheol;6 If she does not find the level path of life: Her ways are unstable, [and] she will not know.
8 Remove your way far from her, And don't come near the door of her house;9 Or else you will give your honor to others, And your years to the cruel;10 Or else strangers will be filled with your strength, And your labors [be] in the house of an alien,11 And you mourn at your latter end, When your flesh and your body are consumed,12 And say, How I have hated instruction, And my heart despised reproof;13 Neither have I obeyed the voice of my teachers, Nor inclined my ear to those who instructed me!14 I was well-near in all evil In the midst of the assembly and congregation.
19 [As] a loving hind and a pleasant doe, Let her nipples immerse you at all times; And be ravished always with her love.20 For why should you, my son, be ravished with a strange woman, And embrace the bosom of a foreigner?
29 So he who goes in to his fellow man's wife; Whoever has any sex with her will not be unpunished.
32 He who commits adultery with a woman is void of understanding: He who does it destroys his own soul.
32 He who commits adultery with a woman is void of understanding: He who does it destroys his own soul.33 Wounds and dishonor he will get; And his reproach will not be wiped away.34 For jealousy is the rage of a [noble] man; And he will not spare in the day of vengeance.35 He will not regard any ransom; Neither will he rest content, though you give many gifts.
4 A worthy woman is the crown of her husband; But she who brings shame is as rottenness in his bones.
9 The heart of man devises his way; But Yahweh directs his steps.
9 It is better to dwell in the corner of the housetop, Than with a contentious woman in a wide house.
10 A worthy woman who can find? For her price is far above rubies.
Bíblia e casamento
Deus abomina o divórcio. A aliança matrimonial é reflexo da aliança de Deus com seu povo — sagrada e eterna.
15 And no one who does this has part of the Spirit remaining in him; neither is such a one seeking a godly seed. Therefore take heed{} to your{} spirit; and do not betray the wife of your youth.16 For he who hates, divorces, says Yahweh, the God of Israel, and he will cover his garment with violence, says Yahweh of hosts. Therefore take heed to your{} spirit, that you{} do not betray [the wife of your youth].
14 Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers: for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?
3 For this is the will of God, [even] your{} sanctification, that you{} abstain from fornication;4 that each of you{} know how to possess himself of his own vessel in sanctification and honor,5 not by immoral sexual passion, even as the Gentiles who don't know God;
15 See that none render to anyone evil for evil; but always follow after that which is good, both one toward another, and toward all.
10 for fornicators, for homosexuals, for menstealers, for liars, for false swearers, and if there be any other thing contrary to the sound doctrine;
2 The overseer therefore must be without reproach, the husband of one wife, temperate, sober-minded, orderly, given to hospitality, apt to teach;12 Let servants be husbands of one wife, ruling [their] children and their own houses well.
6 if any man is blameless, the husband of one wife, having children who believe, who are not accused of riot or unruly.
5 When a man takes a new wife, he will not go out in the host, neither will he be charged with any business: he will be free at home one year, and will cheer his wife whom he has taken.
1 When a man takes a wife, and marries her, then it will be, if she finds no favor in his eyes, because he has found some unseemly thing in her, that he will write her a bill of divorce, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house.
13 If any man takes a wife, and goes in to her, and hates her,14 and lays shameful things to her charge, and brings up an evil name on her, and says, I took this woman, and when I came near to her, I didn't find in her the tokens of virginity;15 then will the father of the damsel, and her mother, take and bring forth the tokens of the damsel's virginity to the elders of the city in the gate;16 and the damsel's father will say to the elders, I gave my daughter to this man as wife, and he hates her;17 and, look, he has laid shameful things [to her charge], saying, I didn't find in your daughter the tokens of virginity; and yet these are the tokens of my daughter's virginity. And they will spread the garment before the elders of the city.
8 You will not have any sex with your father's wife, it is your father's nakedness.20 And you will not have any sex with your associate's wife, to defile yourself with her.
10 And the man who commits adultery with another man's wife--who commits adultery with his fellow man's wife--the adulterer and the adulteress will surely be put to death.13 And if a man has any sex with a man, both of them have done something disgusting: they will surely be put to death; their blood will be on them.
7 They will not take a woman who is a prostitute, or profane; neither will they take a woman put away from her husband: for he is holy to his God.
13 And he will take a wife in her virginity.14 A widow, or one divorced, or a profane woman, a prostitute, these he will not take: but a virgin of his own relatives he will take as wife.

6 Set me as a seal on your heart, As a seal on your arm: For love is as strong as death; Jealousy is as cruel as Sheol; The flashes of it are flashes of fire, An intense flame of Yahweh.7 Many waters can't quench love, Neither can floods drown it: If a man would give all the substance of his house for love, He would be completely despised.

9 Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor.10 For if they fall, the one will lift up his partner; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and does not have another to lift him up.11 Again, if two lie together, then they have warmth; but how can one be warm [alone]?12 And if a man prevails against him who is alone, two will withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.
