2 In My Father’s house are many *rooms; if that were not so,*I would have told you, because I am going there to prepare a place for you.

1 The heavens tell of the glory of God;

And their expanse declares the work of His hands.

2 Day to day pours forth speech,

And night to night reveals knowledge.

5 Be exalted above the heavens, God,

And may Your glory be above all the earth.

8 Our help is in the name of the Lord,

Who made heaven and earth.

25 Whom do I have in heaven but You?

And with You, I desire nothing on earth.

1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 And the earth was a *formless and desolate emptiness, and darkness was over the *surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the *surface of the waters.

6 The One who builds His upper chambers in the heavens

And has founded His vaulted dome over the earth,

He who calls for the waters of the sea

And pours them out on the face of the earth,

The Lord is His name.

24 "Can a person hide himself in hiding places

So that I do not see him?" declares the Lord.

"Do I not fill the heavens and the earth?" declares the Lord.

17 ‘Oh, Lord *God! Behold, You Yourself have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and by Your outstretched arm! Nothing is too difficult for You,

20 For our *citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ;

19 "Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal.20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal;

14 But Jesus said, "*Leave the children alone, and do not *forbid them to come to Me; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."

21 Jesus said to him, "If you want to be *complete, go and sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me."

35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away.

2 *Set your minds on the things that are above, not on the things that are on earth.

16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a *shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive, who remain, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.

2 Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we will be. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is. 3 And everyone who has this hope set on Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.

18 The Lord will rescue me from every evil deed, and will *bring me safely to His heavenly kingdom; to *Him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

50 And He led them out as far as Bethany, and He lifted up His hands and blessed them. 51 While He was blessing them, He parted from them and was carried up into heaven.

9 And after He had said these things, He was lifted up while they were watching, and a cloud took Him up, out of their sight.

12 For our struggle is not against *flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.

7 For we have brought nothing into the world, so we cannot take anything out of it, either. 8 If we have food and *covering, with these we shall be content.

9 "For as the heavens are higher than the earth,

So are My ways higher than your ways

And My thoughts than your thoughts.

1 There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every matter under heaven—

15 As he came naked from his mother’s womb, so he will return as he came. He will take nothing from the fruit of his labor that he can carry in his hand.
