9 And after He had said these things, He was lifted up while they were watching, and a cloud took Him up, out of their sight.

10 And as they were gazing intently into the sky while He was going, then behold, two men in white clothing stood beside them, 11 and they said, "Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you have watched Him go into heaven."

19 So then, when the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.

50 And He led them out as far as Bethany, and He lifted up His hands and blessed them. 51 While He was blessing them, He parted from them and was carried up into heaven.

2 In My Father’s house are many *rooms; if that were not so,*I would have told you, because I am going there to prepare a place for you.

12 Truly, truly I say to you, the one who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I am going to the Father.

28 I came forth from the Father and have come into the world; again, I am leaving the world and going to the Father."

17 Jesus *said to her, "Stop clinging to Me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to My brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and My God and your God.’ "

33 Therefore Jesus said, "For a little while longer I am going to be with you, and then I am going to Him who sent Me.

16 Beyond question, great is the mystery of godliness:

He who was revealed in the flesh,

Was *vindicated *in the Spirit,

Seen by angels,

Proclaimed among the nations,

Believed on in the world,

Taken up in glory.
