2 In my Father's house are many places to stay; if it were not so, would I tell you{} that I go to prepare a place for you{}?

1 For the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows his handiwork.2 Day to day gushes out speech, And night to night shows knowledge.

5 Be exalted, O God, above the heavens, And your glory above all the earth.

8 Our help is in the name of Yahweh, Who made heaven and earth.

25 Whom have I in heaven [but you] And there is none on earth that I desire besides you.

1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.2 And the earth was waste and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep: and the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.

6 [it is] he who builds his staircase in the heavens, and has founded his vault on the earth; he who calls for the waters of the sea, and pours them out on the face of the earth; Yahweh is his name.

24 Can any hide himself in secret places so that I will not see him? says Yahweh. Don't I fill heaven and earth? says Yahweh.

17 Ah Sovereign Yahweh! Look, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm; there is nothing too hard for you,

Cidadania celestial

A nossa cidadania está nos céus. Ajuntai tesouros no céu, não na terra. O céu é a pátria do cristão.

20 For our citizenship is in heaven; from where we also wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ:

19 and from him who takes away your cloak don't withhold your coat also.20 Give to everyone who asks you; and of him who takes away your goods don't ask [for them] back.

14 I will arise and go to my father, and will say to him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in your sight:

21 for this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.

2 Set your{} mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are on the earth.

Esperança eterna

Seremos arrebatados para encontrar o Senhor nos ares. Ainda não se manifestou o que havemos de ser — mas seremos semelhantes a Ele.

16 For the Lord himself will descend from heaven, with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ will rise first;17 then we who are alive, who are left, will together with them be caught up in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

2 Beloved, we are now children of God, and it is not yet made manifest what we will be. We know that, if he will be manifested, we will be like him; for we will see him even as he is.3 And everyone who has this hope [set] on him purifies himself, even as he is pure.

18 The Lord will deliver me from every evil work, and will save me to his heavenly kingdom: to whom [be] the glory forever and ever. Amen.

50 And he led them out until [they were] across from Bethany: and he lifted up his hands, and blessed them.51 And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he parted from them, and was carried up into heaven.

9 And when he had said these things, as they were looking, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.

12 For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world-rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual [hosts] of wickedness in the heavenly [places].

7 for we brought nothing into the world, neither can we carry anything out;8 but having food and covering we will be content with this.

9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your{} ways, and my thoughts than your{} thoughts.

1 For everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven:

15 As he came forth from his mother's womb, naked he will go again as he came, and will take nothing for his labor, which he may carry away in his hand.
