Coragem
7 for God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind;
7 for God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind;
13 Watch you, stand in the faith; be men, be strong;
13 Watch you, stand in the faith; be men, be strong;
18 fear is not in the love, but the perfect love does cast out the fear, because the fear has punishment, and he who is fearing has not been made perfect in the love;
28 and not terrified in anything by those opposing, which to them indeed is a token of destruction, and to you of salvation, and that from God;
13 For all things I have strength, in Christ's strengthening me;
15 for you did not receive a spirit of bondage again for fear, but you did receive a spirit of adoption in which we cry, 'Abba -- Father.'
Não temas
Não temas, porque Eu sou contigo. Quando tiver medo, em ti confiarei. Deus é nosso escudo e fortaleza.
Conforto e encorajamento
O Deus de toda consolação nos consola em todas as tribulações. Coragem não falta a quem descansa em Deus.
3 Blessed is God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of the mercies, and God of all comfort,4 who is comforting us in all our tribulation, for our being able to comfort those in any tribulation through the comfort with which we are comforted ourselves by God;
7 And we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us;8 on every side being in tribulation, but not straitened; perplexed, but not in despair;9 persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;10 at all times the dying of the Lord Jesus bearing about in the body, that the life also of Jesus in our body may be manifested,11 for always are we who are living delivered up to death because of Jesus, that the life also of Jesus may be manifested in our dying flesh,
5 Without covetousness the behaviour, being content with the things present, for He has said, 'No, I will not leave, no, nor forsake you,'6 so that we do boldly say, 'The Lord is to me a helper, and I will not fear what man shall do to me.'
13 and who is he who will be doing you evil, if of Him who is good you may become imitators?14 but if you also should suffer because of righteousness, happy are you! and of their fear be not afraid, nor be troubled,
27 'Peace I leave to you; my peace I give to you, not according as the world does give do I give to you; let not your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid;
49 And they having seen him walking on the sea, thought it to be an apparition, and cried out,50 for they all saw him, and were troubled, and immediately he spake with them, and said to them, 'Take courage, I amhe, be not afraid.'
