A criação revela a glória de Deus. Céus, terra, mares e tudo o que existe testemunham o poder criador. No princípio Deus criou — e tudo era muito bom.
No princípio
No princípio criou Deus os céus e a terra. O Espírito de Deus pairava sobre as águas. E Deus disse: haja luz.
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was formless and empty, and darkness covered the surface of the deep. The Spirit of God moved over the surface of the waters.
God said, "Let us make human beings in our image who are like us. They will have authority over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, and over the whole of the earth and every creature that moves on it."
So God created human beings in his own image. He created them in the image of God. He created them male and female.
God blessed the seventh day, and set it apart as holy, because he rested from all the work he’d done in creation.
Then the Lord God said, "It’s not good for Adam to be alone. I will make someone to help him, someone that’s like him."
O poder criador
Pela palavra do Senhor foram feitos os céus. Tudo foi criado por Ele e para Ele — o visível e o invisível.
The Lord spoke the word and the heavens were made; his mouth breathed all the stars into existence.
Before the mountains were born, before you gave birth to the earth and the universe, from eternity past to eternity future, you are God.

Criador e Sustentador
O Deus eterno não se cansa nem se fatiga. Dele, por Ele e para Ele são todas as coisas — a Ele seja a glória.
Don’t you know? Haven’t you heard? The Lord is the eternal God, the Creator of the whole earth. He’s never weak or tired; you can’t find out all he knows.
What trouble people face when they fight with their Creator—they’re just pots among all the other pots on earth! Does the clay tell the potter who is shaping it, "What are you doing?" or "What you’re making is so bad it’s like you have no hands!"
"Ah, Lord God! You created the heavens and the earth by your great strength and power. Nothing is too hard for you!
The Lord builds his upper rooms in heaven, and places the foundations on the earth. He calls for the water of the seas, and pours it down as rain upon the earth—the Lord is his name!
Everything comes from him, everything exists through him, and everything is for him. Glory to him forever, Amen!
Ever since the creation of the world, the invisible aspects of God—his eternal power and divinity—are clearly visible in what he has made. Such people have no excuse,
All of creation is patiently waiting, longing for God to reveal his children.
Nova criação
Se alguém está em Cristo, nova criatura é. O Criador faz novas todas as coisas — na natureza e na redenção.
That’s why anyone who is in Christ is a new being—what was old is gone, the new has come!
We’re the product of what God does, created in Christ Jesus to do good, which God already planned that we should do.
He chose to give us new life through the word of truth, so that out of all his creation we would be very special to him.
Every house has its builder; God is the builder of everything.
In him we live, move, and exist. Just as one of your own poets wrote, ‘We are his family.’"
Then I heard every creature in heaven, on earth, and under the earth, in the sea—every creature everywhere—replying: "To the one who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb be blessing, honor, glory, and authority, for ever and ever."
