Criado à imagem de Deus
Deus criou o homem à sua imagem. Mas pelo pecado, o homem caiu e passou a depender da graça para ser restaurado.
God said, "Let us make human beings in our image who are like us. They will have authority over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, and over the whole of the earth and every creature that moves on it." So God created human beings in his own image. He created them in the image of God. He created them male and female.
Later they heard the Lord walking in the garden in the evening when the breeze was blowing. Adam and Eve went and hid out of sight of the Lord God among the trees of the garden.
For through one man sin entered the world, and sin led to death. In this way death came to everyone, for everyone sinned.
As Scripture says, "The first man, Adam, became a living being"; but the last Adam a life-giving spirit. The spiritual did not come first, but the natural—the spiritual came after that. The first man is from the dust of the earth; the second man is from heaven. Earthly people are like the man made from the earth; heavenly people are like the man from heaven. Just as we bore the likeness of the earthly man so we shall bear the likeness of the man from heaven.
Fragilidade humana
O homem nascido de mulher é de poucos dias e cheio de inquietação. Deus conhece nossa fragilidade e cuida de nós.
"Life is short and full of trouble,
‘Can anyone be right before God? Can anyone be pure before their Maker?
Why are human beings so important to you; why are you so concerned about them
But as it’s been said, "What are human beings that you should worry about them? What is a son of man that you should care about him?
The Lord shows us the way to go, so how would we decide for ourselves?
Renovação e chamado
Despojados do velho homem e revestidos do novo, somos chamados a buscar a justiça, a piedade e o amor.
So get rid of your former lifestyle, that old nature that ruins you through deceptive desires! Let yourselves be remade spiritually and mentally, and put on your new nature that God created so you will be like him, right and holy in the truth.

But you as a man of God should run away from such things. You should seek to do what is right, practice true religion, and trust in God. Aim to love, to be patient, and gentle.
When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I grew up I left behind such childlike ways.
For the Lord sees everything people do, the Lord investigates everywhere they go.
Human beings may make plans in their minds, but the final decision is the Lord’s.
A confiança errada
Maldito o homem que confia no homem. O homem de duplo ânimo é instável em todos os seus caminhos.
This is what the Lord says: Cursed are those who put their confidence in human beings, who trust in human strength and give up relying on the Lord.
Nobody like that should think they’ll get anything from the Lord— their minds think every which way, and they’re unstable in whatever they do.
Don’t rebuke a man who is older than you. Instead, encourage him as if he were your father. Treat younger men as brothers,
