1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 And the earth was a *formless and desolate emptiness, and darkness was over the *surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the *surface of the waters.

26 Then God said, "*Let Us make mankind in Our image, according to Our likeness; and *let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the livestock and over all the earth, and over every crawling thing that crawls on the earth."

27 So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

3 Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because on it He rested from all His work which God had created *and made.

18 Then the Lord God said, "It is not good for the man to be alone; I will make him a helper *suitable for him."

6 By the word of the Lord the heavens were made,

And by the breath of His mouth all their *lights.

2 Before the mountains were born

*Or You gave birth to the earth and the world,

Even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God.

6 Come, let’s worship and bow down,

Let’s kneel before the Lord our Maker.

1 I will raise my eyes to the mountains;

From where will my help come?

2 My help comes from the Lord,

Who made heaven and earth.

8 Our help is in the name of the Lord,

Who made heaven and earth.

24 This is the day which the Lord has made;

Let’s rejoice and be glad in it.

13 For You created my innermost parts;

You wove me in my mother’s womb.

14 I will give thanks to You, because *I am awesomely and wonderfully made;

Wonderful are Your works,

And my soul knows it very well.

28 Do you not know? Have you not heard?

The Everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth

Does not become weary or tired.

His understanding is unsearchable.

9 "Woe to the one who quarrels with *his Maker—

A piece of pottery *among the other earthenware pottery pieces!

Will the clay say to the *potter, ‘What are you doing?’

Or the thing you are making say, ‘He has no hands’?

17 ‘Oh, Lord *God! Behold, You Yourself have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and by Your outstretched arm! Nothing is too difficult for You,

6 The One who builds His upper chambers in the heavens

And has founded His vaulted dome over the earth,

He who calls for the waters of the sea

And pours them out on the face of the earth,

The Lord is His name.

36 For from Him, and through Him, and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory *forever. Amen.

20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, that is, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, being understood by what has been made, so that they are without excuse.

19 For the eagerly awaiting creation waits for the revealing of the sons and daughters of God.

17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, this person is a new *creation; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.

10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.

18 In the exercise of His will He gave us birth by the word of truth, so that we would be *a kind of first fruits *among His creatures.

4 For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is God.

28 for in Him we live and move and *exist, as even some of your own poets have said, ‘For we also are His descendants.’

13 And I heard every created thing which is in heaven, or on the earth, or under the earth, or on the sea, and all the things in them, saying,

"To Him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be the blessing, the honor, the glory, and the dominion forever and ever."
