Tomar uma decisão

Por Bíblia Online

Tomar decisões com sabedoria é um dos maiores desafios da vida. A Bíblia nos ensina a buscar a Deus em oração, na Palavra e no conselho, confiando que Ele dirige os nossos passos.

Buscar a Deus

Se algum de vós tem falta de sabedoria, peça a Deus. Ele dá generosamente e sem repreensão a todos os que pedem.

If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking.

And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him.

But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart;

do not depend on your own understanding.

Seek his will in all you do,

and he will show you which path to take.

Seek his will in all you do,

and he will show you which path to take.

For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

Conselho e direção

Onde não há conselho os planos se frustam. Toda Escritura é útil para nos guiar nas decisões da vida.

Without wise leadership, a nation falls;

there is safety in having many advisers.

We may throw the dice,

but the Lord determines how they fall.

Unfriendly people care only about themselves;

they lash out at common sense.

Fools have no interest in understanding;

they only want to air their own opinions.

Doing wrong leads to disgrace,

and scandalous behavior brings contempt.

Wise words are like deep waters;

wisdom flows from the wise like a bubbling brook.

It is not right to acquit the guilty

or deny justice to the innocent.

Foolswords get them into constant quarrels;

they are asking for a beating.

The mouths of fools are their ruin;

they trap themselves with their lips.

Rumors are dainty morsels

that sink deep into one’s heart.

A lazy person is as bad as

someone who destroys things.

The name of the Lord is a strong fortress;

the godly run to him and are safe.

The rich think of their wealth as a strong defense;

they imagine it to be a high wall of safety.

Haughtiness goes before destruction;

humility precedes honor.

Spouting off before listening to the facts

is both shameful and foolish.

The human spirit can endure a sick body,

but who can bear a crushed spirit?

All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.

God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.

Then coming to the borders of Mysia, they headed north for the province of Bithynia, but again the Spirit of Jesus did not allow them to go there.

Barnabas and Saul Are Commissioned

Among the prophets and teachers of the church at Antioch of Syria were Barnabas, Simeon (called "the black man"), Lucius (from Cyrene), Manaen (the childhood companion of King Herod Antipas), and Saul. One day as these men were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, "Appoint Barnabas and Saul for the special work to which I have called them." So after more fasting and prayer, the men laid their hands on them and sent them on their way.

Confiar e seguir

Seja o que for que façais, fazei tudo para a glória de Deus. O sábio ouve a Deus antes de agir.

So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.

God’s Discipline Proves His Love

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us.

That night the Lord appeared to Solomon in a dream, and God said, "What do you want? Ask, and I will give it to you!"

Solomon replied, "You showed great and faithful love to your servant my father, David, because he was honest and true and faithful to you. And you have continued to show this great and faithful love to him today by giving him a son to sit on his throne.

"Now, O Lord my God, you have made me king instead of my father, David, but I am like a little child who doesn’t know his way around. And here I am in the midst of your own chosen people, a nation so great and numerous they cannot be counted! Give me an understanding heart so that I can govern your people well and know the difference between right and wrong. For who by himself is able to govern this great people of yours?"

The Lord was pleased that Solomon had asked for wisdom. So God replied, "Because you have asked for wisdom in governing my people with justice and have not asked for a long life or wealth or the death of your enemiesI will give you what you asked for! I will give you a wise and understanding heart such as no one else has had or ever will have!

His wife said to him, "Are you still trying to maintain your integrity? Curse God and die."

But Job replied, "You talk like a foolish woman. Should we accept only good things from the hand of God and never anything bad?" So in all this, Job said nothing wrong.
