Dinheiro

5 When thou lettest merely thy eyes fly over it, it is no more: for it will ever make itself wings: like an eagle will it fly toward heaven.

4 Fatigue thyself not to become rich; because thou hast understanding, forbear.

10 (5:9) He that loveth money will never be satisfied with money; nor he that loveth abundance, with any increase. Also this is vanity.

Administrar com sabedoria

Honra ao Senhor com as tuas primícias. O sábio administra seus recursos com prudência e visão de eternidade.

9 Honor the Lord with thy wealth, and with the firstfruits of all thy products:

22 The blessing of the Lord it is which maketh rich, and painful labor addeth nothing thereto.

2 Treasures of wickedness will not profit aught; but righteousness will deliver from death.

11 Wealth gotten by vain deeds will be diminished; but he that gathereth by close labor will increase it.

16 How much better is it to obtain wisdom than gold! and to obtain understanding is preferable to silver!

1 A good name is preferable to abundant riches, and good grace, to silver and to gold.

16 Better is little with the fear of the Lord, than great treasure and confusion therewith.

22 The longing of a man is to exercise his kindness; and a poor man is better than a liar.

8 Vanity and lying words do thou remove far from me: neither poverty nor riches give thou unto me; let me eat the bread appointed unto me:

Perigos e armadilhas

Quem quer enriquecer cai em tentação. Fuja do amor ao dinheiro e busque contentamento no Senhor.

4 Wealth cannot profit on the day of wrath; but righteousness deliver from death.

11 The rich mans wealth is his strong town, and as a towering wall in his own conceit.

Tudo vem de Deus

De ti vem tudo, e das tuas mãos to damos. Os tributos são devidos — dai a César o que é de César e a Deus o que é de Deus.

14 For who am I, and what is my people, that we should possess the power to offer voluntarily after this sort? for from thee is every thing, and out of thy own have we given unto thee.

16 Better is the little that the righteous hath, than the great riches of many wicked.17 For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the upholder of the righteous is the Lord.

14 On the way of thy testimonies have I been glad, as over all wealth.
