Doença
A doença é realidade humana que a Bíblia confronta com compaixão e poder. Jesus curou toda enfermidade e prometeu ouvir a oração da fé pelos enfermos.
Jesus, o curador
Jesus percorreu toda a Galileia curando toda enfermidade e doença entre o povo. Pelo seu nome, curas continuam acontecendo.
35 And Jesus was going up and down all the cities and the villages, teaching in their synagogues, and proclaiming the good news of the reign, and healing every sickness and every malady among the people.
8 infirm ones be healing, lepers be cleansing, dead be raising, demons be casting out -- freely you did receive, freely give.

16 And evening having come, they brought to him many demoniacs, and he did cast out the spirits with a word, and did heal all who were ill,17 that it might be fulfilled that was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying, 'Himself took our infirmities, and the sicknesses he did bear.'
36 naked, and you put around me; I was infirm, and you looked after me; in prison I was, and you came unto me.37 'Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when did we see you hungering, and we nourished? Or thirsting, and we gave to drink?38 And when did we see you a stranger, and we received? Or naked, and we put around?39 And when did we see you infirm, or in prison, and we came unto you?40 'And the king answering, shall say to them, Verily I say to you, Inasmuch as you didit to one of these my brethren -- the least -- to me you did it.
17 And Jesus, having heard, said to them, 'They who are strong have no need of a physician, but they who are ill; I came not to call righteous men, but sinners to reformation.'
9 and heal the ailing in it, and say to them, The reign of God has come near to you.
1 And having called together his twelve disciples, he gave them power and authority over all the demons, and to cure sicknesses,2 and he sent them to proclaim the reign of God, and to heal the ailing.
Promessas de cura
Eu sou o Senhor que te sara. As Escrituras prometem cura para o corpo e para a alma aos que confiam em Deus.
2 beloved, concerning all things I desire you to prosper, and to be in health, even as your soul does prosper,
Oração pelos doentes
A oração da fé salvará o enfermo. Confessai as ofensas uns aos outros e orai uns pelos outros para serdes curados.
14 is any infirm among you? let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, having anointed him with oil, in the name of the Lord,15 and the prayer of the faith shall save the distressed one, and the Lord shall raise him up, and if sins he may have committed, they shall be forgiven to him.

16 Be confessing to one another the trespasses, and be praying for one another, that you may be healed; very strong is a working supplication of a righteous man;
7 and that by the exceeding greatness of the revelations I might not be exalted overmuch, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of the Adversary, that he might buffet me, that I might not be exalted overmuch.8 Concerning this thing thrice the Lord did I call upon, that it might depart from me,9 and He said to me, 'Sufficient for you is My grace, for My power in infirmity is perfected;' most gladly, therefore, will I rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of the Christ may rest on me:10 therefore I am well pleased in infirmities, in damages, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses -- for Christ; for whenever I am infirm, then I am powerful;
Esperança na aflição
Ele tomou sobre si as nossas enfermidades. Mesmo na doença, o coração alegre serve de bom remédio e Deus dá esperança.
13 and you have known that through infirmity of the flesh I did proclaim good news to you at the first,14 and my trial that is in my flesh you did not despise nor reject, but as a messenger of God you did receive me -- as Christ Jesus;
23 no longer be drinking water, but a little wine be using, because of your stomach and of your often infirmities;
4 and God shall wipe away every tear from their eyes, and the death shall not be any more, nor sorrow, nor crying, nor shall there be any more pain, because the first things did go away.'
