Ensinar é mandamento e dom. A Bíblia exorta pais, líderes e mestres a transmitir a verdade divina com fidelidade, paciência e sabedoria para as próximas gerações.
Ensinar a Palavra
Toda Escritura é útil para ensinar. Quem ouve as palavras de Jesus e as pratica é como o homem sábio que construiu sobre a rocha.
16 For all scripture geve by inspiracion of god is proffitable to teache to improve to amende and to instruct in rightewesnes17 yt ye man of god maye be perfect and prepared vnto all good workes.
24 Whosoever heareth of me these sayinges and doethe the same I wyll lyken hym vnto a wyse man which bylt hys housse on a rocke:
16 Let the worde of Christ dwell in you plenteously in all wisdome. Teache and exhorte youre awne selves in psalmes and hymnes and spretuall songes which have favour wt them syngynge in youre hertes to the lorde.
4 Whatsoever thinges are written afore tyme are written for oure learnynge that we thorow pacience and comforte of the scripture myght have hope.
Instruir as gerações
Ensina a criança nos caminhos de Deus. A geração que não conhece o Senhor perde a herança espiritual da fé.
5 and thou shalt loue the Lorde thy God with all thyne harte, with all thy soule and with all thy myght.6 And these wordes which I commaunde the this daye, shalbe in thine herte7 ad thou shalt whett them on thy childern, and shalt talke of them when thou art at home in thyne housse and as thou walkest by the waye, ad when thou lyest doune and when thou rysest vpp:
Fidelidade no ensino
Quem ensina com fidelidade merece dupla honra. Cuidado com doutrinas falsas — permaneçam na doutrina de Cristo.
17 The elders yt rule wel are worthy of double honoure most specially they which laboure in ye worde and in teachinge.18 For the scripture sayth: Thou shalt not mousell the mouth of the oxe that treadeth out the corne. And the labourer is worthy of his rewarde.
16 . Vngostly and vayne voyces passe over. For they shall encreace vnto greater vngodlynes17 and their wordes shall fret even as doeth a cancre: of whose nombre ys Hymeneos and Philetos
9 Whosoever transgresseth and bydeth not in the doctrine of Christ hath not God. He yt endureth in the doctrine of Christ hath bothe the father and the sonne.
14 In ye middes of the feast Iesus went vp into the temple and taught.15 And the Iewes marveylled sayinge: How knoweth he ye scriptures seynge yt he never learned?16 Iesus answered them and sayde: My doctrine is not myne: but his that sent me.17 If eny man will do his will he shall knowe of the doctrine whether it be of God or whether I speake of my selfe.18 He that speaketh of him selfe seketh his awne prayse. But he that seketh his prayse that sent him the same is true and no vnrightewesnes is in him.
