Esperar em Deus não é passividade — é confiança ativa no Senhor que age no tempo perfeito. Os que esperam nele não serão confundidos nem envergonhados.

Descanse somente em Deus, ó minha alma, pois dele vem a minha esperança. Ele é rocha e salvação — não serei abalado.
Confiança na espera
O Senhor é bom para os que esperam nele. O olho não viu o que Deus preparou para os que o amam e o aguardam.
7 So brothers, take your troubles quietly and wait until the Lord comes. A farmer waits until the harvest grows from the ground. He waits for it a long time until it has had the first and second rain.8 You must wait also. Keep your hearts strong, because the Lord will come soon.
21 Keep yourselves in Gods love. Wait for our Lord Jesus Christ to come and help you. He will give you life that will live for ever.
20 But we belong to heaven. And we are waiting for the Saviour to come from heaven. He is the Lord Jesus Christ.
