Esperar no Senhor

Por Bíblia Online

Esperar no Senhor é ato de fé e confiança. A Bíblia promete que os que esperam em Deus renovam as forças, recebem direção e experimentam a fidelidade divina no tempo certo.

Renovar as forças

Not only that, but we also boast in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces endurance, endurance produces proven character, proven character produces hope,

being strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, so that you may have great endurance and patience with joy;

Patience in Suffering

Therefore be patient, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. Behold, the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient for it until it receives the early and latter rain. You also must be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord has drawn near.

Behold, we regard as blessed those who endure. You have heard of the endurance of 20 ¦ Job. Now consider 𝔐23 RPJob, and you have seen the purpose of the Lord, that he is full of compassion and mercy.

Since you have purified your souls by your obedience to the truth through the Spirit, resulting in genuine brotherly love, love one another deeply, from SBL WH 0.6%a pure heart. For you have been born again, not of perishable seed but of imperishable, through the word of God that lives and abides forever. For,

"All flesh is like grass,

and all the glory of man is like a flower of grass.

The grass withers,

and its flower falls,

but the word of the Lord endures forever."

This word is the good news that was preached to you.

The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness, but is patient toward us, not wishing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

The Parable of the Ten Virgins

"At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were wise, and five were foolish. When those who were foolish took their lamps, they did not take oil with them, but the wise took oil in their flasks along with their lamps. When the bridegroom was delayed, they all became drowsy and slept. But in the middle of the night there was a shout: Behold, the bridegroom is coming! Come out to meet him. Then all the virgins rose and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish ones said to the wise, Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out. But the wise replied, No, there will 11 ¦ certainly not 𝔐14 CTnot be enough for us and for you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves. But while they were on their way to buy it, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding feast. Then the door was shut. Afterward the other virgins also came, saying, Lord, Lord, open the door for us. But he answered, Truly I say to you, I do not know you. Therefore keep watch, for you do not know the day or the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.
