O espírito humano é a parte mais profunda do nosso ser — onde Deus habita, onde a fé se ancora e de onde brota a verdadeira adoração. A Bíblia nos chama a viver pelo Espírito.
A natureza do espírito
O espírito está pronto, mas a carne é fraca. A batalha entre carne e espírito é constante e exige vigilância.
O Espírito de Deus em nós
Vosso corpo é templo do Espírito Santo. Deus fortalece com poder no homem interior pelo seu Espírito.
Vida no Espírito
Deus é Espírito e importa que os que o adoram o adorem em espírito e em verdade. O Espírito vivifica e transforma.
Promessas do Espírito
Derramarei o meu Espírito sobre toda a carne. O Espírito revela, guia e capacita os filhos de Deus.
23 Turn back to my admonition: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.

Cuidar do espírito
Cria em mim um coração puro e renova dentro de mim um espírito reto. O espírito quebrantado Deus não rejeita.
10 (51:12) Create unto me a clean heart, O God; and a firm spirit renew thou within me.11 (51:13) Cast me not away from thy presence; and thy holy spirit do not take from me.12 (51:14) Restore unto me the gladness of thy salvation; and with a liberal spirit do thou support me.
17 (51:19) The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, wilt thou not despise.
18 (34:19) The Lord is nigh unto those that are brokenhearted: and he saveth those that are of a contrite spirit.
3 Put not your trust in princes, in the son of man, in whom there is no salvation.4 When his spirit goeth forth, he returneth to his native earth: on that very day perish his thoughts.
