Estudar a Bíblia é mergulhar na mente de Deus. A Palavra é lâmpada para os pés, espada do Espírito e alimento para a alma. O cristão que estuda cresce em sabedoria e maturidade.
A importância do estudo
Os bereanos eram mais nobres porque examinavam as Escrituras diariamente. Estudar a Bíblia é mandamento e privilégio.
11 The Jews at Beroea were of a nobler disposition than those in Thessalonica, for they very readily received the Message, and day after day searched the Scriptures to see whether it was as Paul stated.
15 Earnestly seek to commend yourself to God as a servant who, because of his straightforward dealing with the word of truth, has no reason to feel any shame.

Meditar e guardar
Não se aparte a lei do Senhor da tua boca. Medita nela de dia e de noite para que cumpras tudo o que nela está escrito.
Estudo diligente
Esdras preparou o coração para buscar e ensinar a lei. O estudo exige disciplina, constância e coração aberto.
Proteção e crescimento
Quem ignora a Palavra perece. Toda Escritura é útil — crescei na graça e no conhecimento do nosso Senhor.
24 »Is not this the cause of your error,« replied Jesus– your ignorance alike of the Scriptures and of the power of God?
4 For all that was written of old has been written for our instruction, so that we may always have hope through the power of endurance and the encouragement which the Scriptures afford.
17 You, therefore, dear friends, having been warned beforehand, must continually be on your guard so as not to be led astray by the false teaching of immoral men nor fall from your own stedfastness.18 But be always growing in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To Him be all glory, both now and to the day of Eternity!
10 There were Prophets who earnestly inquired about that salvation, and closely searched into it–even those who spoke beforehand of the grace which was to come to you.11 They were eager to know the time which the Spirit of Christ within them kept indicating, or the characteristics of that time, when they solemnly made known beforehand the sufferings that were to come upon Christ and the glories which would follow.
