Simplicidade do Evangelho
A simplicidade do evangelho é sua força. Deus escolheu as coisas loucas do mundo para confundir os sábios. O poder está na mensagem da cruz, não na eloquência humana.
But God-The Father has chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God-The Father has chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
And base things of the world, and things which are despised, has God-The Father chosen, [yes], and things which are not, to bring to nothing things that are:
That no flesh should glory in his presence.
For Moshiach [Messiah] sent me not to baptize, but to preach the Gospel (joyful message): not with wisdom of words, lest the stake (cross) of Moshiach [Messiah] should be made of none effect.
And my speech and my preaching [was] not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit [Ruach] and of power:
And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all [men] unto me.
