O que é a graça de Deus

A graça é o favor de Deus entregue a quem não tem como pagar nem merecer. Ela não depende do seu histórico nem do seu desempenho: é o acolhimento, o perdão e o sustento de Deus exatamente onde a sua força termina.

8 For by grace are you2f saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God-The Father:

9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.(Ephesians 2:8,9)

Tira das suas costas a obrigação pesada de tentar comprar o amor de Deus pelo próprio esforço.

23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God-The Father;

24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Moshiach [Messiah] Yeshua [God is Salvation]:(Romans 3:23,24)

Iguala todo mundo diante da cruz: ninguém é perfeito a ponto de não precisar de perdão, nem imperfeito demais que não possa ser alcançado.

4 But God-The Father, who is rich in mercy, for his great love which he loved us,

5 Even when we were dead in sins, has quickened us together with Moshiach [Messiah], (by grace you2f are saved;)(Ephesians 2:4,5)

Lembra que Deus não esperou você se consertar para acolher a sua vida; o amor dele deu o primeiro passo quando você ainda não tinha saída.

Graça para recomeçar e superar a culpa

8 The LORD-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate] [is] merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.(Tehillim - Psalms 103:8)

Acalma o medo de quem falhou e pensa que Deus está pronto para rejeitar ou punir no primeiro erro.

18 And therefore will the LORD-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the LORD-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) [is] a God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] of judgment: Blessed (Favored by God; happy; prosperous) [are] all they that wait for him.(Isaiah 30:18)

Dá a certeza de que Deus não desistiu da sua história, mas espera com paciência a hora de estender a mão.

1 Out of the depths have I cried unto youi, O LORD-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate].

2 Lord-Adonai (The Father) [Greatest Above All Things], hear my voice: let youri ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.(Tehillim - Psalms 130:1,2)

Dá palavras à oração de quem chegou ao fundo do poço e só tem a misericórdia de Deus para se apegar.

Graça para o cansaço e a rotina

16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.(Hebrews 4:16)

Abre as portas para você falar com Deus com total honestidade, sem precisar fingir força ou esconder o que está sentindo.

14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for you2f are not under the law, but under grace.(Romans 6:14)

Quebra a sensação de que os erros do passado têm o poder de condenar o que você ainda vai viver.

11 For the grace of God-The Father that brings salvation has appeared to all men,

12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;(Titus 2:11,12)

Dá a força necessária para dizer não ao que machuca a sua vida, sem depender apenas da sua força de vontade.

10 But the God-The Father of all grace, who has called us unto his eternal glory by Moshiach [Messiah] Yeshua [God is Salvation], after that you2f have suffered a while, make you perfect, establish, strengthen, settle [you].(1 Peter 5:10)

Sustenta o coração cansado com a certeza de que a dor de hoje não é definitiva — Deus refaz e firma você de pé.

24 The LORD-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) bless youi, and keep youi:

25 The LORD-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) make his face shine upon youi, and be gracious unto youi:

26 The LORD-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) lift up his Countenance (Face, appearance; show favor) upon youi, and give youi peace.(Numbers 6:24-26)

Coloca sobre a sua vida a bênção e a serenidade de quem não precisa carregar o mundo nos próprios ombros.
