3 He is the radiance of the glory of God and *the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. *After making purification for sins, *he sat down *at the right hand of the Majesty on high, 4 having become as much superior to angels as the name *he has inherited is more excellent than theirs.

14 And *the Word *became flesh and *dwelt among us, *and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son* from the Father, full of *grace and *truth.

18 *No one has ever seen God; *God the only Son, who* is at the Father’s side,**he has made him known.

17 But Jesus answered them, "My Father is working until now, and I am working."

18 This was why the Jews *were seeking all the more to kill him, *because not only was he *breaking the Sabbath, but he was even calling God *his own Father, *making himself equal with God.

13 *Now when Jesus came into the district of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, "Who do people say that the Son of Man is?"14 And they said, "Some say *John the Baptist, others say *Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets." 15 He said to them, "But who do you say that I am?"16 Simon Peter replied, *"You are *the Christ, *the Son of *the living God."

16 And when Jesus was baptized, immediately he went up from the water, and behold, *the heavens were opened to him,* and he *saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and coming to rest on him; 17 and behold, *a voice from heaven said, *"This is my beloved Son,* with whom I am well pleased."

15 *Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.

9 In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that *God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. 10 In this is love, *not that we have loved God *but that he loved us and sent his Son to be *the propitiation for our sins.

8 *Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was *to destroy the works of the devil.

12 *Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.

16 "For *God so loved *the world,**that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not *perish but have eternal life.

21 For as the Father *raises the dead and *gives them life, so *also the Son gives life *to whom he will.22 *For the Father judges no one, but *has given all judgment to the Son,23 that all may honor the Son, just as they *honor the Father. *Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.

25 "Truly, truly, I say to you, *an hour is coming, and is now here, when *the dead will hear *the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear *will live.26 *For as the Father has life in himself, *so he has granted the Son also to have life in himself.

12 But to all who did receive him, *who believed in his name, *he gave the right *to become *children of God, 13 who *were born, *not of blood *nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.

20 I have been *crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives *in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, *who loved me and *gave himself for me.

4 But *when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, *born *of woman, born *under the law, 5 *to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive *adoption as sons. 6 And because you are sons, God has sent *the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, "Abba! Father!"

10 For if *while we were enemies *we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by *his life.

6 *For to us a child is born,

to us *a son is given;

*and the government shall be *upon* his shoulder,

and his name shall be called*

Wonderful *Counselor, *Mighty God,

*Everlasting *Father, Prince of *Peace.
