Fraqueza
Reconhecer os próprios limites costuma ser doloroso, mas é exatamente nesse lugar de cansaço e falta de recursos que você encontra o socorro de Deus. Quando as forças acabam e o peso do dia a dia parece grande demais, a tendência é achar que você falhou ou que foi abandonado.
A Bíblia mostra que a fragilidade humana não assusta o Criador e nem afasta o seu amor. Pelo contrário, é quando você admite que não dá conta de tudo que o poder de Deus se torna evidente na sua rotina, trazendo descanso e renovação verdadeira para a sua vida.
A fraqueza humana não é fraqueza diante de Deus. Pelo contrário, é na nossa fragilidade que o poder de Cristo se aperfeiçoa. Deus escolhe os fracos para confundir os fortes.
Poder na fraqueza
A minha graça te basta, pois o meu poder se aperfeiçoa na fraqueza. Quando sou fraco, então é que sou forte.
And he said vnto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my power is made perfect through weakenesse. Very gladly therefore will I reioyce rather in mine infirmities, that the power of Christ may dwell in me.(2 Corinthians 12:9)
Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproches, in necessities, in persecutions, in anguish for Christes sake: for when I am weake, then am I strong.(2 Corinthians 12:10)
For God hath not giuen to vs the Spirite of feare, but of power, and of loue, and of a sound minde.(2 Timothy 1:7)
I am able to do al things through the helpe of Christ, which strengtheneth me.(Philippians 4:13)
Deus cuida dos fracos
O Senhor está perto dos que têm o coração quebrantado. Ele dá poder aos fracos e renova a força dos cansados.
But he giueth strength vnto him that fainteth, and vnto him that hath no strength, he encreaseth power.(Isaiah 40:29)
My flesh fayleth and mine heart also: but God is the strength of mine heart, and my portion for euer.(Psalms 73:26)
Doe right to the poore and fatherlesse: doe iustice to the poore and needie.(Psalms 82:3)
Cast all your care on him: for he careth for you.(1 Peter 5:7)
Come vnto me, all ye that are wearie and laden, and I will ease you.(Matthew 11:28)
Compaixão e intercessão
O Espírito intercede por nós com gemidos inexprimíveis. Jesus compreende nossas fraquezas porque foi tentado como nós.
Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we knowe not what to pray as wee ought: but the Spirit it selfe maketh request for vs with sighs, which cannot be expressed.(Romans 8:26)
For we haue not an hie Priest, which can not be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, but was in all things tempted in like sort, yet without sinne.(Hebrews 4:15)
Watch, and praie, that yee enter not into tentation: the spirit in deede is readie, but the flesh is weake.(Matthew 26:41)
A ioyfull heart causeth good health: but a sorowfull minde dryeth the bones.(Proverbs 17:22)
