So two good things will result from this ministry of giving—the needs of the believers in Jerusalem will be met, and they will joyfully express their thanks to God.

Se Deus dá sabedoria generosamente a quem pede, quanto mais nos dará Ele forças e suprimento em toda necessidade?

Suppose you see a brother or sister who has no food or clothing, and you say, "Good-bye and have a good day; stay warm and eat well"—but then you don’t give that person any food or clothing. What good does that do?
So you see, faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless.
He gives power to the weak
and strength to the powerless.
Good comes to those who lend money generously
and conduct their business fairly.
