A Bíblia mostra que a bondade e as palavras cuidadosas têm o poder de acalmar conflitos e abrandar corações endurecidos. Quando você escolhe a paciência e a compaixão, você demonstra o amor de Cristo de maneira prática, abençoando a vida de quem cruza o seu caminho.
A gentileza é fruto do Espírito e marca do cristão maduro. Palavras suaves, gestos de bondade e amor ao próximo — a Bíblia nos chama a tratar todos com graça e compaixão.
Seja gentil
A vossa gentileza seja conhecida de todos. A palavra branda desvia a ira, e a boa conduta atrai os que estão distantes.
Let your patient minde be knowen vnto all men. The Lord is at hand.(Philippians 4:5)

Gentileza como fruto
O fruto do Espírito inclui bondade e amabilidade. Amem uns aos outros com afeição fraternal e tratem bem a todos.
But the fruite of the Spirit is loue, ioye, peace, long suffering, gentlenes, goodnes, fayth, Meekenesse, temperancie: against such there is no lawe.(Galatians 5:22,23)
While we haue therefore time, let vs doe good vnto all men, but specially vnto them, which are of the housholde of faith.(Galatians 6:10)
Let brotherly loue continue. Be not forgetfull to intertaine strangers: for thereby some haue receiued Angels into their houses vnwares.(Hebrews 13:1,2)
