5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.

1 A soft answer turns away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.

24 Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.

5 Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.6 Let your (o. logos) speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that all of you may know how all of you ought to answer every man.

12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;

22 But the fruit of the Spirit (o. pneuma) is love, (o. agape) joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,23 Meekness, wilful restrain: against such there is no law.

10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

1 Let brotherly love continue.2 Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unexpectedly.

13 Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumbling block or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.

17 You shall not hate your brother in yours heart: you shall in any way rebuke your neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.18 You shall not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people, but you shall love your neighbour as yourself: I am the LORD.

9 Thus speaks the LORD of hosts, saying, Execute true judgment, and show mercy and compassions every man to his brother:10 And oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor; and let none of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart.

20 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receives whomsoever I send receives me; and he that receives me receives him that sent me.
