A vossa gentileza seja conhecida de todos. A palavra branda desvia a ira, e a boa conduta atrai os que estão distantes.
5 Let your forbearing spirit be known to every one–the Lord is near.
5 Behave wisely in relation to the outside world, buying up your opportunities.6 Let your language be always seasoned with the salt of grace, so that you may know how to give every man a fitting answer.
12 Clothe yourselves therefore, as God's own people holy and dearly loved, with tender-heartedness, kindness, lowliness of mind, meekness, long-suffering;
Gentileza como fruto
O fruto do Espírito inclui bondade e amabilidade. Amem uns aos outros com afeição fraternal e tratem bem a todos.
22 The Spirit, on the other hand, brings a harvest of love, joy, peace; patience towards others, kindness, benevolence;23 good faith, meekness, self-restraint.
10 So then, as we have opportunity, let us labour for the good of all, and especially of those who belong to the household of the faith.
1 Let brotherly love always continue.2 Do not neglect to show kindness to strangers; for, in this way, some, without knowing it, have had angels as their guests.
13 Therefore let us no longer judge one another; but, instead of that, you should come to this judgement–that we must not put a stumbling-block in our brother's path, nor anything to trip him up.
20 In most solemn truth I tell you that he who receives whoever I send receives me, and that he who receives me receives Him who sent me.«
