Gratidão ao Senhor
A gratidão ao Senhor é resposta de amor diante da bondade divina. Louvar a Deus com cântico e magnificá-lo com ação de graças — isso é o que agrada ao Senhor.
Agradecer ao Senhor
Deus transformou nosso lamento em dança. Ele é digno de toda gratidão, em todo tempo e em toda circunstância.
11 The Lord hath heard, and hath had mercy on me: the Lord became my helper.12 Thou hast turned for me my mourning into joy: thou hast cut my sackcloth, and hast compassed me with gladness:
30 But I am poor and sorrowful: thy salvation, O God, hath set me up.
4 Go ye into his gates with praise, into his courts with hymns: and give glory to him. Praise ye his name:
4 Let them be turned backward, and blush for shame that desire evils to me: Let them be presently turned away blushing for shame that say to me: 'T is well, 't is well.
Gratidão constante
Em tudo dai graças. Tudo o que Deus criou é bom, quando recebido com ação de graças e paz no coração.
18 In all things give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you all.
4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be rejected that is received with thanksgiving:5 For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.
15 And let the peace of Christ rejoice in your hearts, wherein also you are called in one body: and be ye thankful.
9 They that are vain observe vanities, forsake their own mercy.
