O coração é a nascente de tudo — pensamentos, desejos, decisões. Guardá-lo é proteger toda a vida espiritual e emocional.
45 A good man has stored up good things in his heart, so he says good things. A bad man has stored up wrong things in his heart, so he will say wrong things. The mouth will say what is in the heart.
Coração puro e renovado
Cria em mim um coração puro, ó Deus. Os puros de coração verão a Deus — e o Espírito renova nosso interior.
8 God makes happy those who have clean hearts. They will see God.
Guardar com a Palavra
Não vos conformeis com este mundo. A Palavra de Deus guardada no coração nos protege do pecado e nos direciona.
2 Do not be like the people of this world, but have a new mind. Then you will prove for yourselves what God wants you to do. That will be good. It will please God. And it will be all right.
Vigilância e paz
A paz de Deus guarda nossos corações em Cristo Jesus. Chegai-vos a Deus, purificai os corações — e Ele estará convosco.
6 Then God will give you peace, a peace which is too wonderful to understand. That peace will keep your hearts and minds safe as you trust in Christ Jesus.7 Here, my brothers, are some things I want you to think about. Think about things that are true, honest, right, clean and pure, things that are lovely, and things that are good to talk about. If they are good, and if they bring praise to God, think about these things.
8 Come to God and he will come to you. You bad people, make your hands clean! You love what is good and what is wrong at the same time. Make your hearts clean.
8 You must wait also. Keep your hearts strong, because the Lord will come soon.
1 Were you raised from death with Christ? Then look for the things which are in heaven. There Christ is sitting at the right hand of God.
