Little children, guard yourselves from idols.(1 John 5:21)
Therefore, treat the parts of your earthly body as dead to sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed, which amounts to idolatry.(Colossians 3:5)
For the love of money is a root of all sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.(1 Timothy 6:10)
You shall not make other gods besides Me; gods of silver or gods of gold, you shall not make for yourselves.(Exodus 20:23)
Yet I have been the Lord your God
Since the land of Egypt;
And you were not to know any god except Me,
For there is no savior besides Me.(Hosea 13:4)
Therefore know today, and take it to your heart, that the Lord, He is God in heaven above and on the earth below; there is no other.(Deuteronomy 4:39)
You shall follow the Lord your God and fear Him; and you shall keep His commandments, listen to His voice, serve Him, and cling to Him.(Deuteronomy 13:4)
But if it is disagreeable in your sight to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves today whom you will serve: whether the gods which your fathers served, which were beyond the Euphrates River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living; but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord."(Joshua 24:15)
Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor those habitually drunk, nor verbal abusers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.(1 Corinthians 6:9,10)
Do not participate in the useless deeds of darkness, but instead even expose them; for it is disgraceful even to speak of the things which are done by them in secret.(Ephesians 5:11,12)
Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil.(Ephesians 6:11)
I am not asking You to take them out of the world, but to keep them away from the evil one.(John 17:15)
