Ser imitador de Cristo é o chamado supremo do cristão. Paulo exortou: 'Sede meus imitadores, como eu sou de Cristo.' Fomos criados à imagem de Deus para refletir seu caráter.
Imitar a Cristo
Sede imitadores de Deus como filhos amados. Cristo se esvaziou e se humilhou — esse é o padrão que devemos seguir.
1 Be ye therefore followers of God, as most dear children;
5 For let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:6 Who being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:7 But emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men, and in habit found as a man.8 He humbled himself, becoming obedient unto death, even to the death of the cross.

6 And you became followers of us, and of the Lord; receiving the word in much tribulation, with joy of the Holy Ghost:
Criados à imagem de Deus
Deus nos criou à sua imagem e semelhança. Adorar em espírito e verdade é viver refletindo o caráter do Criador.
26 And he said: Let us make man to our image and likeness: and let him have dominion over the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the air, and the beasts, and the whole earth, and every creeping creature that moveth upon the earth.
24 God is a spirit; and they that adore him, must adore him in spirit and in truth.
