Aproximar-se de Deus
Chegai-vos a Deus e Ele se chegará a vós. Deus deseja intimidade, não religiosidade. Ele busca os que o buscam de todo coração.
8 draw you near to the God, and he will draw near to you; cleanse you hands, sinners, and purify you hearts, twosouled ones.
Sede de Deus
Como a corça deseja as correntes de água, assim a minha alma suspira por ti, ó Deus. A intimidade nasce do desejo profundo.
Unidade com o Pai
Jesus orou pela unidade dos seus com o Pai. A intimidade com Deus inclui confissão, perdão e alegria na comunhão.
22 And I the glory which thou hast given to me, have given to them; that they may be one, as we one are;23 (I in them, and thou in me); that they may be perfected into one, and that may know the world, that thou me didst send, and thou didst love them, as me thou didst love.
