8 Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you{}. Cleanse your{} hands, you{} sinners; and purify your{} hearts, you{} who lead a double life.

1 Ho, everyone who thirsts, come{} to the waters, and he who has no money; come{}, buy, and eat; yes, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.2 Why do you{} spend money for that which is not bread? And your{} labor for that which does not satisfy? Listen diligently to me, and eat{} that which is good, and let your{} soul delight itself in fatness.3 Incline your{} ear, and come to me; hear, and your{} soul will live: and I will make an everlasting covenant with you{}, even the sure mercies of David.4 Look, I have given him for a witness to the peoples, a leader and commander to the peoples.5 Look, you will call a nation that you don't know; and a nation that didn't know you will run to you, because of Yahweh your God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for he has glorified you.6 Seek{} Yahweh while he may be found; call{} on him while he is near:

24 And it will come to pass that, before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.

3 Call to me, and I will answer you, and will show you great and difficult things, which you don't know.

11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you{}, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you{} hope in your{} latter end.

1 BOOK II. For the Chief Musician. Maschil of the sons of Korah. As a doe pants after the water brooks, So my soul pants after you, O God.2 My soul thirsts for God, for the living God: When shall I come and see the face of God?

1 A Psalm of David when he was in the wilderness of Judah. O God, you are my God; earnestly I will seek you: My soul thirsts for you, my flesh longs for you, In a dry and weary land, where there is no water.2 So I have looked on you in the sanctuary, To see your power and your glory.3 Because your loving-kindness is better than life, My lips will praise you.4 So I will bless you while I live: I will lift up my hands in your name.5 My soul will be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; And my mouth will praise you with joyful lips;6 When I remember you on my bed, [And] meditate on you in the night-watches.7 For you have been my help, And in the shadow of your wings I will rejoice.8 My soul sticks [closely] after you: Your right hand upholds me.9 But those who seek my soul, to destroy it, Will go into the lower parts of the earth.10 They will be given over to the power of the sword: They will be a portion for foxes.11 But the king will rejoice in God: Everyone who swears by him will glory; For the mouth of those who speak lies will be stopped.

22 And the glory which you have given me I have given to them; that they may be one, even as we [are] one;23 I in them, and you in me, that they may be perfected into one; that the world may know that you sent me, and loved them, even as you loved me.

17 Yahweh your God is in the midst of you, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with joy; he will rest in his love; he will joy over you with singing.

9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
