55 Is not this the carpenter's son? Is not his mother called Mary, and his brethren James, and Joseph, and Simon, and Jude:56 And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence therefore hath he all these things?

46 As he was yet speaking to the multitudes, behold his mother and his brethren stood without, seeking to speak to him.

31 And his mother and his bretheren came; and standing without, sent unto him, calling him.32 And the multitude sat about him; and they say to him: Behold thy mother and thy brethren without seek for thee.33 And answering them, he said: Who is my mother and my brethren?34 And looking round about on them who sat about him, he saith: Behold my mother and my brethren.35 For whosoever shall do the will of God, he is my brother, and my sister, and mother.

19 And his mother and brethren came unto him; and they could not come at him for the crowd.

3 And his brethren said to him: Pass from hence, and go into Judea; that thy disciples also may see thy works which thou dost.4 For there is no man that doth any thing in secret, and he himself seeketh to be known openly. If thou do these things, manifest thyself to the world.5 For neither did his brethren believe in him.

17 Jesus saith to her: Do not touch me, for I am not yet ascended to my Father. But go to my brethren, and say to them: I ascend to my Father and to your Father, to my God and your God.

14 All these were persevering with one mind in prayer with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.

19 But other of the apostles I saw none, saving James the brother of the Lord.

10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, who had brought many children into glory, to perfect the author of their salvation, by his passion.11 For both he that sanctifieth, and they who are sanctified, are all of one. For which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren, saying:
