O amor fraternal como marca de quem segue a Cristo
Na Bíblia, irmão define tanto o parente de sangue quanto a pessoa unida a você pela fé em Jesus. Esse vínculo não depende de simpatia natural: o amor mútuo é a prova concreta de discipulado apresentada pelo próprio Jesus e pelos apóstolos. Amar a Deus e rejeitar o irmão é uma contradição que o texto bíblico desmascara com firmeza.
A new commandment I give unto you, That you2f love one another; as I have loved you, that you2f also love one another.
By this shall all [men] know that you2f are my disciples, if you2f have love one to another.(John 13:34,35)
Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God-The Father; and every one that loves is born of God-The Father, and knows God-The Father.(1 John 4:7)
If a man say, I love God-The Father, and hates his brother, he is a liar: for he that loves not his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God-The Father whom he has not seen?(1 John 4:20)

Convivência, amizade e edificação no dia a dia
A fé cristã não foi planejada para o isolamento. A convivência na comunidade serve para instruir, consolar e afiar o caráter, da mesma forma que o ferro afia o ferro. Manter laços leais e perseverar no convívio protege o cristão do esfriamento espiritual.
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some [is]; but exhorting [one another]: and so much the more, as you2f see the day approaching.(Hebrews 10:25)
Let the word of Moshiach [Messiah] dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord - Kurios.(Colossians 3:16)

Como confrontar o erro e perdoar a ofensa
Conflitos entre irmãos exigem atitude rápida, não silêncio ressentido nem fofoca. Tanto a Lei de Moisés quanto as instruções de Jesus em Mateus mandam procurar a pessoa a sós para corrigir o erro e buscar a reconciliação. O perdão concedido ao outro deve refletir a misericórdia que recebemos de Deus.
youi shall not hate youi brother in youi heart: youi shall in any wise rebuke (reprimand; strongly warn; restrain) youi neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.(Leviticus 19:17)
At that time Yeshua [God is Salvation] said to Shim’on [he has heard]; called Kefa [pebble] "If your brother sins against you, reprove him privately. If he listens to you, you have gained your brother".

Responsabilidade na família e acolhimento aos necessitados
A fraternidade começa no sustento dos próprios parentes e no respeito dentro do lar. Além disso, Jesus expande a família de Deus para incluir todo aquele que obedece ao Pai, identificando-se pessoalmente com o cuidado prestado aos necessitados e desamparados.
Rebuke (reprimand; strongly warn; restrain) not an elder, but intreat [him] as a father; [and] the younger men as brethren;
The elder women as mothers; the younger as sisters, with all purity.(1 Timothy 5:1,2)
But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever.(1 Timothy 5:8)
For whosoever shall do the will of God-Theos, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother.(Mark 3:35)
