20 For no one will be justified  * in his sight by the works of the law,  * because the knowledge of sin comes through the law.  *

15 What then? Should we sin because we are not under the law but under grace?  * Absolutely not!  *

23 "Everything is permissible,"  * but not everything is beneficial. "Everything is permissible,"  * but not everything builds up.

14 For the whole law is fulfilled  * in one statement: Love your neighbor as yourself.*,*

22 But the fruit of the Spirit  * is love,  * joy,  * peace, patience,  * kindness,  * goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness,  * and self-control.  * The law is not against such things.  *

2 Carry one another’s burdens; in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.  *

31 The second is, Love your neighbor*as yourself.*,*There is no other command*greater than these."

12 "This is my command: Love one another as I have loved*you.

12 Therefore, whatever you want others to do for you, do also the same for them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.*

8 Do not owe anyone anything, except to love one another, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law.  *

21 And we have this command from him: The one who loves God must also love his brother and sister.

21 Dear friends, if our hearts don’t condemn us, we have confidence before God 22 and receive whatever we ask from him because we keep his commands  * and do what is pleasing in his sight.

1 "Now  * if you faithfully obey the Lord your God  * and are careful to follow all his commands I am giving you today,  * the Lord your God will put you far above all the nations of the earth.  *

16 For  * I am commanding you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commands, statutes, and ordinances, so that you may live  * and multiply, and the Lord your God may bless you in the land you are entering to possess.

12 "And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God ask of you except to fear  * the Lord your God by walking in all his ways, to love him, and to worship the Lord your God with all your heart and all your soul?  *13 Keep the Lord’s commands and statutes I am giving you today, for your own good.  *

6 These words that I am giving you today are to be in your heart.  *7 Repeat them to your children.  * Talk about them when you sit in your house and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.

8 This book of instruction must not depart from your mouth;  * you are to meditate on  * it day and night so that you may carefully observe everything written in it. For then you will prosper and succeed in whatever you do.  *

5 Only carefully obey the command and instruction that Moses the Lord’s servant gave you: to love the Lord your God, walk in all his ways, keep his commands, be loyal to him, and serve him with all your heart and all your soul."  *

10 I have sought you with all my heart;  *

don’t let me wander from your commands.  *

30 I have chosen the way of truth;

I have set your ordinances before me.  *

17 But from eternity to eternity

the  Lord’s faithful love is toward those who fear him,

and his righteousness toward the grandchildren  *

18 of those who keep his covenant,

who remember to observe his precepts.  *

4 Fathers, don’t stir up anger  * in your children, but bring them up in the training  * and instruction of the Lord.

8 Mankind, he has told each of you what is good  *

and what it is the  Lord requires of you:  *

to act justly,  *

to love faithfulness,  *

and to walk humbly with your God.  *

24 But let justice flow like water,

and righteousness, like an unfailing stream.  *

14 Do not be yoked together with those who do not believe. For what partnership is there between righteousness and lawlessness?  * Or what fellowship does light  * have with darkness?  *
