Liberdade
Cristo nos libertou para a liberdade. A Bíblia proclama a libertação do pecado, da condenação e de toda forma de escravidão espiritual. Na verdade de Cristo, somos verdadeiramente livres.
Liberdade em Cristo
Para a liberdade Cristo nos libertou. Se o Filho vos libertar, verdadeiramente sereis livres. Não volteis ao jugo da escravidão.

Livres da condenação
Não há condenação para os que estão em Cristo Jesus. A lei do Espírito nos libertou da lei do pecado e da morte.
1 So now those who belong to Christ Jesus will not be judged.2 The Spirit gives life in Christ Jesus. And the law of the Spirit has set me free from the law of wrong things, and the law of death.

God sent his own Son in a body of man. His body was like the bodies which others use to do wrong things. He sent him because people have done wrong things. And he judged the wrong things people have done in their bodies.4 He did this so that we might be good people as the law said we should be. We are good people if we live the way the Spirit wants us to live, not the way our bodies want to live.
20 The world was spoiled. It did not want to be spoiled, but God allowed it.21 And it hoped to be free like Gods children when they are made great.
22 But now you have been made free from wrong ways and you have been made Gods slaves. You are made good and you will live for ever.

15 What then? The law does not rule over us now. Gods loving kindness rules over us. So, shall we do wrong things? No, never!
21 So now God has shown how people can be put right with him without the law. The law and the prophets said he would do it.22 God puts people right with himself when they believe in Jesus Christ. He does this for all who believe. They are all alike.23 All have done wrong and all are far from being as good as God.24 But God is kind and makes them right with himself. It is a gift. He does it because Christ Jesus paid the price to set them free.
O Espírito liberta
Onde está o Espírito do Senhor, aí há liberdade. Olhe onde temos liberdade de acessar o trono da graça com confiança.

Liberdade responsável
Fomos chamados à liberdade, mas não usemos a liberdade como pretexto para a carne. Tudo é lícito, mas nem tudo convém.

A liberdade que permanece
Conhecer a verdade é o caminho da liberdade duradoura. Cristo nos resgatou e nos fez livres para viver em plenitude.
38 Men and brothers, understand this. It is because of this Jesus that we tell you your wrong ways will be forgiven you.39 The law of Moses could not make you free. But this man makes you free. You will not be judged if you believe in him.

21 At one time you were far away from God. You hated him in your hearts and you did wrong things.
1 I am the real fruit tree. My Father is the One who takes care of the tree.2 He takes away from me every branch that does not bear fruit. And he cleans every branch that bears fruit so that it will bear more fruit.3 What I said to you has made you clean already.4 But you must be in me and I will be in you. The branch cannot bear fruit by itself. It must be joined to the tree. And you cannot do any good thing if you are not joined to me.5 I am the fruit tree and you are the branches. I will be in the person who is in me. That person will have a fruitful life. But you can do nothing without me.6 If any person is not in me, he is cut off like a branch and dies. People gather the dry branches and throw them into the fire to be burned.7 If you are in me and obey me, you may ask me for anything you want and I will give it to you.8 If you do much good and become my disciples, you will make my Fathers name great.
