O que significa ser livre em Cristo

A verdadeira liberdade não é fazer tudo o que dá vontade, mas ser livre da culpa e do pecado por meio de Jesus. Quando Cristo transforma a sua caminhada, o passado perde o poder de condenar o seu presente.

1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty which Moshiach [Messiah] has made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.(Galatians 5:1)

36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, you2f shall be free indeed.(John 8:36)

31 Then said Yeshua [God is Salvation] to those Y’hudim (Judeans) [praised of Yah] which believed on him, If you2f continue in my word, [then] are you2f my disciples indeed;

32 And you2f shall know the truth, and the tshall make you free.(John 8:31,32)

Livres da condenação e do peso do passado

1 [There is] therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Moshiach [Messiah] Yeshua [God is Salvation], who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit [Ruach].

2 For the law of the Spirit [Ruach] of life in Moshiach [Messiah] Yeshua [God is Salvation] has made me free from the law of sin and death.(Romans 8:1,2)

22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God-The Father, you2f have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.(Romans 6:22)

39 And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which you2f could not be justified by the law of Moshe [He Who Draws Out Of The Waters].(Acts 13:38,39)

Liberdade para servir, não para tropeçar

Ser livre na fé não é desculpa para se descuidar ou machucar os outros. A liberdade que Jesus dá ensina a fazer escolhas com discernimento e a colocar a vida a serviço do próximo.

13 For, brethren, you2f have been called unto liberty; only [use] not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.(Galatians 5:13)

12 All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.(1 Corinthians 6:12)

16 As free, and not using [your] liberty for a cloak of maliciousness, but as the servants of God-The Father.(1 Peter 2:16)

25 But whoso looks into the perfect law of liberty, and continues [in it], he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be Blessed (Favored by God; happy; prosperous) in his deed.(Jacob 1:25)
