20 Nevertheless, do not *rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are recorded in heaven."

3 Indeed, true *companion, I ask you also, help these women who have shared my struggle in the cause of the gospel, together with Clement as well as the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the book of life.

8 All who live on the earth will worship him, everyone whose name has not been *written since the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who has been slaughtered.

8 "The beast that you saw was, and is not, and is about to come up out of the abyss and *go to destruction. And those who live on the earth, whose names have not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, will wonder when they see the beast, that he was, and is not, and will *come.

Judgment at the Throne of God

11 Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat upon it, from whose *presence earth and heaven fled, and no place was found for them. 12 And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and *books were opened; and another *book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the *books, according to their deeds. 13 And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them; and they were judged, each one of them according to their deeds. 14 Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. 15 And if *anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

27 and nothing unclean, and no one who practices abomination and lying, shall ever come into it, but only those *whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

The Time of the End

1 "Now at that time Michael, the great prince who stands guard over the sons of your people, will arise. And there will be a time of distress such as never occurred since there was a nation until that time; and at that time your people, everyone who is found written in the book, will be rescued. 2 And many of those who sleep in the dust of the ground will awake, these to everlasting life, but the others to disgrace and everlasting *contempt.

5 The one who overcomes will be clothed the same way, in white garments; and I will not erase his name from the book of life, and I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.

16 Your eyes have seen my formless substance;

And in Your book were written

All the days that were ordained for me,

When as yet there was not one of them.

8 You have taken account of my *miseries;

Put my tears in Your bottle.

Are they not in Your book?

26 For they have persecuted him whom You Yourself struck,

And they tell of the pain of those whom You have *wounded.

27 Add guilt to their guilt,

And may they not come into Your righteousness.

28 May they be wiped out of the book of life,

And may they not be *recorded with the righteous.

The Book of Remembrance

16 Then those who *feared the Lord spoke to one another, and the Lord listened attentively and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before Him for those who *fear the Lord and esteem His name.

32 But now, if You will forgive their sin, very well; but if not, please wipe me out from Your book which You have written!" 33 However, the Lord said to Moses, "Whoever has sinned against Me, I will wipe him out of My book.
