Meditação

Meditar na Palavra dia e noite
Bem-aventurado o homem que medita na lei do Senhor de dia e de noite. Ele é como árvore plantada junto a ribeiros de águas.
Blessed is the man that doeth not walke in the counsell of the wicked, nor stand in the way of sinners, nor sit in ye seate of the scornefull: But his delite is in the Lawe of the Lord, and in his Lawe doeth he meditate day and night.(Psalms 1:1,2)
Let not this booke of the Law depart out of thy mouth, but meditate therin day and night, that thou mayest obserue and doe according to all that is written therein: for then shalt thou make thy way prosperous, and then shalt thou haue good successe.(Joshua 1:8)
MEM. Oh howe loue I thy Lawe! it is my meditation continually. By thy commandements thou hast made mee wiser then mine enemies: for they are euer with mee. I haue had more vnderstading then all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation. I vnderstoode more then the ancient, because I kept thy precepts.(Psalms 119:97-100)
I will meditate in thy precepts, and consider thy waies. I will delite in thy statutes, and I will not forget thy worde.(Psalms 119:15,16)

I preuented the morning light, and cried: for I waited on thy word. Mine eyes preuent the night watches to meditate in thy word.(Psalms 119:147,148)
Frutos da meditação
A meditação produz entendimento, alegria e adoração. Quem medita na Palavra encontra direção, paz e renovação espiritual.
Let the wordes of my mouth, and the meditation of mine heart be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.(Psalms 19:14)
My mouth shall speake of wisdome, and the meditation of mine heart is of knowledge.(Psalms 49:3)
I remembred the workes of the Lord: certainely I remembred thy wonders of olde. I did also meditate all thy woorkes, and did deuise of thine actes, saying,(Psalms 77:11,12)
Yet doe I remember the time past: I meditate in all thy workes, yea, I doe meditate in the workes of thine hands.(Psalms 143:5)
We waite for thy louing kindnes, O God, in the middes of thy Temple.(Psalms 48:9)
