Medo da morte
O medo da morte é universal, mas Cristo o venceu. A Bíblia ensina que para quem crê, a morte perdeu o aguilhão — não é mais motivo de terror, mas porta para a eternidade com Deus.
Cristo venceu a morte
Jesus assumiu carne e sangue para, pela morte, destruir o que tinha o poder da morte e libertar os que viviam em escravidão pelo medo dela.
Seeing, then, the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself also took part of the same in like manner, that through death He might destroy him having the power of death—that is, the Devil— and might deliver those, whoever, with fear of death, throughout all their life, were subjects of bondage,
and when this corruptible may have put on incorruption, and this mortal may have put on immortality, then will be brought to pass the word that has been written: "Death was swallowed up—to victory; Where, O Death, your sting? Where, O Death [[or Hades]], your victory?" And the sting of death [is] sin, and the power of sin the Law; and to God—thanks, to Him who is giving us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ;
We were buried together, then, with Him through the immersion into death, that even as Christ was raised up out of the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life. For if we have become planted together to the likeness of His death, [so] we also will be of the resurrection;
A promessa da vida eterna
Quem ouve a Palavra e crê já passou da morte para a vida. O amor perfeito lança fora o medo, até o medo da morte.
Truly, truly, I say to you, he who is hearing My word, and is believing Him who sent Me, has continuous life, and he does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.
Jesus said to her, "I AM the resurrection, and the life; he who is believing in Me, even if he may die, will live;
truly, truly, I say to you, if anyone may keep My word, he may not see death—throughout the age."
for God so loved the world that He gave the only begotten Son, that everyone who is believing in Him may not perish, but may have continuous life.
There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves punishment, and he who is fearing has not been made perfect in love;
Não temas
Jesus disse: não temais os que matam o corpo. No vale da sombra da morte, o Senhor está conosco como pastor e protetor.
And do not be afraid of those killing the body, and are not able to kill the soul, but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna.
Also—when I walk in a valley of death-shade, || I fear no evil, for You [are] with me, || Your rod and Your staff—they comfort me.
and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying, nor will there be anymore pain, because the first things passed away."
Do not be afraid of the things that you are about to suffer; behold, the Devil is about to cast [some] of you into prison, that you may be tried, and you will have tribulation ten days; become faithful to death, and I will give to you the garland of life.
He enters into peace, they rest on their beds, || [Each] is going straightforward.
for "Everyone who, if he may have called on the Name of the LORD, will be saved."
According as it has been written: "For Your sake we are put to death all the day long; we were reckoned as sheep of slaughter." But in all these we more than conquer, through Him who loved us; for I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor messengers, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things about to be, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God that [is] in Christ Jesus our Lord.
